The "High-Res Audio" sticker improves the audio quality by at least 30%. Wonder when other manufactures gonna discover this brilliant trick. Good job Magnat !
They already did. Acutally, Sony used it long before Magnat did, to this day even and I don't see anything wrong with it because sometimes it really go on pair with the quality. Though, obviously not always - just like with Zeiss signature on the camera lens. Then we can also discuss other marketing tools, what would you say about "meta-material" (KEF), "Continuum" (B&W) or "Klarity" (Wharfedale)? Personally, I don't mind it at all, especially if it goes on pair with performance.
@@MAudiophile Absolutely agree with you. A lot of bogus marketing tools & promises out there to catch the consumers attention. Nevertheless, the "High-Res Audio" sticker on the front panel is a no-go for me. Similar to a permanent "Dolby Vision / HDR10+" sticker on the front of my TV which can't be peeled of. It's surly nice to have this function included, but i don't need to be reminded of it every time I look at my speaker or TV.
Impressive scale, dynamics for a bookshelf.. I just purchased a PR of Signature 503. The dual tweeter module is very open. Airy, but not harsh. Having listened to many speakers over the years, I'm quite impressed, the drivers seem to blend effortlessly, very smooth. Consider it an outstanding buy from me.
Thanks for the review. I recently picked up the 5.1 set on sale, and I'm pretty impressed with the 507s, given the price- although they can get boomy/ chesty often. Wondering if the 503s with the sub might be even better, but unfortunately one of the bookshelf speakers arrived with the magnet sheared off the mid/ bass driver. Waiting for the exchange...
How would you say these compare to the Mission qx-2? Im thinking about getting the qx mkII or Polk es20 but these beeing only 50$ more makes them an interesting proposition
@@Constantine4j I actually just bought the polks yesterday! My reasoning being that I've found more data supporting them than 503 and the price being lower where i live.
Appreciate your review of these here and on your site! These speakers seem fantastic, but I am still a little concerned because they are supposed to be so bright and direct. My question is, if they are a tad bit "too bright", couldn't one simply EQ them, say from 4k up apply -3db, to correct their bright nature? Also, you measured them, thanks, very helpful, and compared to Quadral Platinum+ Two. Why? Is the Quadral a better speaker, or why did you use it as reference? The Magnat clearly pronounced from 3k, but in my opinion nothing that one couldn't correct with EQ.
@@flexy456 its a super tweeter not a mid range so its 3 way technically but you miss out on the fuller midrange that this lacks but hey you get all the highs you want
I think its time to test higher price speakers, under 1000. All these speakers so far look tacky. The Quadral platinum is amuch more expensive speaker in uk £1400. So comparisons i Wouldn't say are fair by a long way.

have you tested HECO aurora 200 or 300 or the Bentley acoustic R-line ?

You should try the Nubert NuBoxx B-30, I recently changed from the Q150. They blow the KEF out of the water, really impressive speaker.

I am also between polk es20 and these. Have you decided yet?

Good afternoon. Magnat Signature 503, are the legs glued or screwed on?

I strongly recommend that you try the Eltax with 8 inch woofer or the more exclusive V speaker. Fantastic...
I wonder whether these speakers beat the Dali Spektor 2...
Monitor audio 7g are what i consider to be good looking speakers. The 100 would be to big for your place tho. Maybe try the 50
This speakers looks so modern, just beautiful✌️
Try Dali Opticon 2 mk 2 or Dali Rubicon 2😉
Adorama had the Signature series set (bookshelf, floor standing, center and subwoofer) all for $699.
Got mine for $599. I love them.
i have the supreme 2002 and i like them alot
is this truly a 3 way or is it 2.5way because usually theirs the tweeter then a super tweeter., and i dont think thats a mid range driver
Second tweeter kicks in at 17k (!), this is so strange.

17 kHz? Who over 25 even hears that? 😂
Why not try 703. Its should be alot better. Also Heco Aurora 300.
Dynaudio Emit20 please ❤
Promising speaker, it's on my radar ;)

Na man those aren’t Magnat the real Magnat Brand doesn’t exist anymore and in my opinion built some of the best speakers

Уже бы на русском говорил, лезет же акцент со всех щелей.
Так необязательно что он русскоязычный.
Incorrect. Poland here.
Did they take the idea from Sony's SSCS5 with 2 tweeters, just saying.
