I came from a privileged home growing up. No nonsense home, in fact zero tolerance home. Our parents told my brother and I if we ever got arrested, just plan to sit there, they would not bail us out, provide lawyers or pay fines. A speeding ticket would not be tolerated. We did not have our own personal cars. We had to ask to use one of the cars , and gas it up at the end of the night. Strict. Curfews! We thought they were terrible. But boy were we lucky. Neither one of us has ever had so much as a parking ticket. Seeing this punk, I’m surprised his parents had any social life at all. I wouldn’t have them in my home, ever!

I'm old now but, came from a privileged family and as a young person I knew NEVER to expect special treatment. If I had ever gotten into this kind of trouble, I would have begged them NOT to call my father!
AMEN!! And my grandson will say that if he gets into trouble and he's 8 years old. I raised my son The proper way and I came from nothing. I lived on the street and I worked my way up. And I owned my own gas station and my son was never privileged. One night he decided he was going to go out joy riding and he took the keys to my vehicle and moved it to get to his vehicle, which he was not allowed to drive yet. I called the police and he saw all of the police cars in the driveway and he didn't run away. He came home, he took his punishment and right in front of the police, I slapped that boy in the face. And they did nothing because I'm the parent he had it coming.
