Kristy New Years Eve wow !! I stood at the snack bar for 20 mins while the movie was going and called who was going to end up with Josh "Fergie" Duhamel.

I usually agree with most of the reviews here, but I actually really enjoyed Sucker Punch. The plot made perfect sense to me, and wasn't hard to follow at all. Yeah, the writing wasn't amazing, and the performances weren't oscar material, but it was eye candy and fantasy. I'd give it a 6/10. How you can have that be a worst movie of the year when there was a twilight film put out is beyond me. It's FUCKING TWILIGHT. END. OF. STORY.

The worst movie in 2011 for me was The Surfs. That movie was so bad and so boring I actually fell asleep in the movie theater ( and that has never happened to me before). Even NPH couldn't save this movie.
It's easy to see that Matt and Alonso don't have a very cool relationship, the way they look at each other when reviewing and interrupting it's akward, but both are good (too very good) reviewers, Christy on the other hand have good relations with both but she's a mediocre an anoying reviewer.
I would never choose an adam sandler movie as worst of the year. Because I always count the intent of the film makers, and in that case, they're not trying to make a masterpiece, just a couple of entertaining hours for it's target audience, which, as much as these three don't like it, does exist, and it's pretty big.

If we're bashing movies that depend mostly on special effects, I enjoyed Sucker Punch better than the Transformers movie to be honest. That one had some big mistakes and shortcuts in the script to tie the story together and it lacked suspense. Suckerpunch is about some kind of trip that happens the moment just before she gets the pin driven through her eye. I thought it looked pretty good, it kept me awake. Not the best kind of movie by any means, but certainly not the worst of 2011...

I loved Sucker Punch, because you had to see it for what it really is, a woman who is going through terrible experiences creating her own world to help her deal with it. It was more of a study of how the brain helps us cope, seen from this woman's eyes. You missed that totally?

Not everything Sandler has done is shit. About 20 years ago, he had a short string of not so bad films. The Wedding Singer was nostalgically good and kind of cute. It worked. The Waterboy wasn't horrible. And Big Daddy wasn't half bad. Other than that?? Yeah... pretty much a river of shit (though, admittedly, I can't say that I have seen everything he has done since, mostly because what he does is so terrible, I don't want to waste my time).

The story makes perfect sense. The Wise Man was sweat pea's guardian angel. All this was his way of helping them escape.
