It’s not as hard as it looks. Ryouma gets a 100% dps bonus this fight and absolutely slaughters him. I did it with lv 67 Ryouma cuz I didn’t have the mats to further level him.
That, and his np spamming capacity without support is really good. Tested in an all caster node in Salem. BBQ chain gives about 15-20 stars and that’s enough to start two (three if you’re lucky) NPAA.
IF you have rider Kintoki (I assume not)
1st fight is a stall anyways.
Only problem I had with the 2nd one was Okita Alter dying due to poor planning
I rushed and barely had Servants near 80 btw.
(All of my Archers were Lvl.60 for Camelot.)
If you do it with Okitan she can 1shot a bar each turn lol, just abuse that damage bonus then event gives you.

After playing Onigashma for myself, and especially after realizing that Kintoki, Raikou and Ushi all come from the same clan...
I can no longer see Golden Drive without either
A) Picturing Ushi and Raikou somehow riding with Kintoki, either just sitting on the back or in a sidecar of some kind
B) Imagining a NP combo between them, with Ushi slashing the enemy first, followed by Kintoki running them over, and then Raikou cooking them with lightning.
Basically, I'm trying to say, all three of them are awesome and I wanna see a Raikou and Ushi solo soon lel.

Best NP line ever, cool animations, nice dialogues, actually stong even from a gameplay perspective ( I 4TK'd the final boss of the event with 2 Waver/Tamamo/Ryoma, could've been 3 turns but turn 1 had horrible card luck)
I like to imagine this Battle as: Kazuma Kiryu as Sakamoto Ryoma (from Yakuza Ishin [Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin]) fighting Akechi Mitsuhide From the Samurai Warriors Games. I'm weird like that I know. :P

Question. How does this 4star rider compare with Kintoki rider?
They are totally different, but both extremely good imho: Kintoki has a more selfish skillset, while Ryouma has party wide buff skills.
Ryouma in particular is valuable because he's the only art rider with a Single Target NP (with an NP drain overcharge, like Archuria): that means good NP generation, plus high star weight...basically, if you use him in a proper art team, he'll be able to spam his NP through crits and constantly drain the NP of the opponent.
Good, I was worried DW would just release two very similar servants that are free. If they're different then they're more valuable.

Zyphyr Ryoma is more of a team player while GOLDEN has a more selfish kit
Ryouma is a great partner for an Arts team build due to his Mozart like skill to give a 3 turn arts buff to the party.
Kintoki benefits from a team built around him that can offer attack buffs and Quick support to make his already high dps turn up to Golden levels
Both great but for different reasons as many Servants tend to be
Maybe this is stupid question but if we ascend temporary welfare to max level do the servant stat and max level still the same like before when we get the permanent or we have to start over again (Newbie here)

How good do you think is Ryoma? You don't have him at max np or skills so do you think he could have done better?
Should be really good on art teams.
IMO he's pretty good, his skills are a little underpowered but the team support ability means he ends up similar to Casgil, just more focused on damage dealing.
i think all of his skills are good, just a shame that the second skill is fixed at 10% np charge
First is pretty generic and powercreeped, but still solid. Second is outclassed by most other NP charge skills, it's a shame that the secondary effect is debuff resist. The last is actually quite strong though.
Very strong welfare servant. Solid team support even if hes niche is strictly arts teams. Very few arts riders and hes the only notable offensive one thats also ST. Im gonna grail him when I get the chance im super excited to use him with tammamo/vlad

Lenz this is rather fun event actually, the grind although still takes a lot of time, it's fun and the materials like phoenix feather drops quite often. 9/10
