They put the stage vocal volume higher than the standard, which is more heard-able. Some groups who doesn't, would put the stage mic volume lower so the monitor/speaker that faces the audience will dominant the pre-recorded vocal 👍🏼

It just disappoints me when idols do put in the effort to sing live and nobody gets to hear it bc the audio engineer goes "yeah let's turn that right down"

I think the screen with everyone cheering means more here with Dreamcatcher because Dreamcatcher is overlooked in the Kpop industry and they have persevered to the point where they embraced a new concept and amassed a small, but dedicated fanbase.
