Just wanna mention an unspected really good synergy, Naomi - Tesarion - Teon (or Kona), both Naomi and Tesa scale with both of their skills unlike Argen, Kro or Narin wich need soul link to shine. In this you soul link Teon and spam skill 1, Tesa provides 3 debuffs including def break, Naomi crit dmg up, this works extra well with fire Kina wich provides atk buff and 20% cooldown reduction, Orbia also works well since will keep the fire dot at 10 always by herself. Been toping on raids with this combo against some lv 70 people me being lv 62.
I'll summary the concept of flat vs %. So the basic idea here is that, if you have flat range and you somehow got the % as well, always min max the benefit. If you have flat main stat and s1 % of the same stat like atk, hp or defense and you somehow manage to get it to s3-s5. That's a win win for you. Nice video and explanation by the way keep it up! Kudos!

For me, i build tesarion focusing on attack speed first, then crit dmg. I comp him with water inferno so tessarion can spam his skill also. But ya still confused about 1 more, i still dont have any good debuffer like hellea.
It's really simple math. Main stats have a higher number than substats. Putting the higher stat as main with a percentage in the substat yields higher attack, or hp etc. You can put 2 percentage stats in the substats while still having a higher base value in the main and make out better. 130 attack x 8% is higher than 100 attack at 10%. You can't have a good percentage if you have low base value. The reason why you go to the store and take advantage of 15% off something that only cost you $20, is lower savings compared to 15% off of $100
Agreed. Just pointing out the flat stat main stat thing because people have the mentality from other gachas, mainly Sky arena, that % main stats are the end all be all ;)
As an old player of sky arena , upgrade a flat rune is soooo weird to me, but in chronicle with some low base atk, it make total sense. Thanks for the tips, time to upgrade some runes.

to be precise, she gets a bit more stat from an atk % mainstat rune, but if she uses atk% mainstat, then she can't get atk% as a substat which is SIGNIFICANTLY better than atk flat as a sub. Basically flat mainstat (on 3-4*) allow you to get double stats with good rolls
Yeah, I wish rune management is as great as the Sky Arena has. Also, I wish we can sell runes directly after running dungeons not just disassemble. Another note is when we combine runes, I wish there's a button that can lock them after combining them.

same with other stats, if your goal is highest hp, flat mainstat hp with rolls into hp% is significantly better than hp% mainstat with rolls into flat hp. I always scoff when i see some youtubers preaching to just get rid of flat mainstat runes. Not to mention the fact, on some 3* 4* monsters, flat mainstat runes are just straight up better regardless of substats because they have low base stats. That being said, I didn't know the sweet spot between the balance of attack and cdmg on naomi, your first test build is literally identical with mine. I'll try to farm more fatal runes now

I have both naomi and kro. And for most of all situation, kro is much better than naomi. Both a15 tho. Naomi maybe gain slight advantage on element advantage only. Maybe barcode doesnt have kro to compare them.
The math is always the same, divide your current attack to the base to know how much % atk you have, that should match as closely as possible the % crit dmg, that's the maximum dmg for any creature. You ofc have to count her passive on that formula and substract 100% from the base attack calculated since that's the base.
so let say 1.3atk *8,3 * 5 =54k at max stacks. vs 2.6atk *8,3 * 4 = 86k i didnt get what you mean by substract 100% atk from the base? why and where those 100%atk coming from ? since her passives gives her 200%cd?
You can also try to remember that Cdmg caps out around 400% so it won't go over that regardless of how many buffs are on a boss. So at some point it becomes useless to take cdmg over atk.
@@BarcodeTH-cam Honestly idk, just saw the other person saying it, there's also a 300% speed cap acording to one "thechroniclesfarmer" or something like that, he's a youtuber and did some testing.
And your fatal all atk is probably not hitting the cdmg cap, but might be better in guild raid situation, might wanna test those two in guild raid to compare

This is already calculated at official discord. Flat damage ones isnt better technically for naomi, its just combination of very high atk substat is good
Technically , its always about the substats =) That rule of having the base attack greater than blabla then go % isnt always correct. For Naomi for example, you dont need to build for Crit rate and you dont technically need to build for crit damage as a main stat. And you can get much higher Mainstat as flat as you could a substat that is flat

Really depends on your summoner , but Dark Harpy, Naomi, and either Bastet, Chasun, or lastly Vanessa for a 3 , 4 , 5 combination

also pay attention to classes. as kina you want the higher cdmg instead because you can't naturally apply that many debuff in solo situation

It is said that crit damage is capped at 400% but I don’t know how the crit damage taken up is calculated nor if Naomi’s passive is affected by it
And your fatal all atk is probably not hitting the cdmg cap, but might be better in guild raid situation, might wanna test those two in guild raid to compare
I've noticed something weird using windy crit dmg buff, instead of increasing dmg by 80% it increased by 40% and i'm nowhere near the crit dmg cap.

This isn't Sky arena. You also can use flat main stats here in Chronicles. But the whole video explains why, especially for Naomi

Early game yes. Easier to build . Also Since you can put your devilmons into another nat 5. Late Game Argen is better.

Both, for pve. You don't need a nat 5 for pve. Just use Naomi and Kro when you run 2 damage dealers

Yep ;) most do, problem is it's harder to build most monsters because you then have to focus on crit rate and crit damage
