  • Castello di Amorosa is Dario Sattui's authentically built 13th century Tuscan castle and winery in Napa California. Over 100 rooms, the castle is used for wine making but also has a church, underground levels, armory and a torture chamber with real antique torture devices.

    I found your channel from one of the Big Boy videos you made. I just wanted to let you know how impressed I am with your videography, narration, and editing. You produce some of the highest quality videos on youtube. Even things I don't think I'll have much interest in you make fascinating. Thanks and keep them coming!
    And I NEVER find them boring!

    Dario missed some of the most evil execution and torture devices in his chamber. Look up the brazen bull and the pear of anguish.

    • @HawkFest
      @HawkFest 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pear of anguish didn't exist in the medieval era. _"There is no contemporary first-hand account of these devices or their use. However, through the design of the devices, such as metal consistency and style, these are often dated to the early modern period (circa 1600)."_

    ~Sigh~ Okay, to everyone watching this video I need to make one thing completely and totally ABUNDANTLY CLEAR here! This Castle that they are talking about is NOT in Napa! And how I know this is because I grew up in the city of Napa and lived there for well over 20 years. It's really out at the very edge of
    Saint Helena/Calistoga
    which is a 25 to 35 minute drive going north from Napa on Hwy 29.
    people need to stop confusing the city of Napa with the Napa Valley the castle is in the Napa Valley but the Napa Valley itself comprises of the following areas Calistoga, St Helena, Napa, and Sonoma

    • @ToyManTelevision
      @ToyManTelevision  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I generally refer to the Napa Valley just as Napa. Many people do. Like saying you are in Los Angeles when you are in Santa Fe Springs. Los Angeles County. I know some people don't like to see things compressed this way.

    Sorry Dude but you and your wife sound very bitter. These people who built the beautiful castle home in Napa and are vineyard owners are by no way “ screwing around”! These people have worked their asses off to attain the wealth they have. Maybe if you would stop blaming the wealthy for your personal problems and work hard in building prosperity you could live in a castle like that too. Yet your certainly not going to get there by complaining and taking jabs at the rich!

    • @ToyManTelevision
      @ToyManTelevision  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bitter???? Blaming the wealthy? I think you need to watch again. "you and your wife sound very bitter" You are right someone is bitter, but at ain't us. The channel theme is :The High Art of Screwing Around". We are having fun. Really. Screwing around.Someone spends every cent they have in the world to build a castle, with a torture chamber, and no we don't have any problem with that. You need to ask yourself why you are bitter, why you think we have "personal problems" or don't work hard. And how you get "complaining and taking jabs at the rich" is beyond me. Someone has an attitude problem all right, but is isn't us.

      Hello Zenkiea... Not sure why you feel the need to be so disrespectful. It sounds like you are really having an off day, as multi-disciplined artists of Fine Arts, Animation, Film, Classical and Modern Musicians and Vocalists tend to have. We hear you... and we are certainly on the same page here... "IF" you did your homework, and knew who we are. I did have a good laugh though... especially in your regards to "people who have worked their asses off to attain the wealth they have." That really made my day!!
      Now.... I did take the liberty to check into your social sights, as your cannel here on You Tube does not have any content. Your Facebook page is mildly entertaining. Some art work... I see you play a guitar and sing. That is great... But your idea of art is not something that I am into in the least. However... It would NEVER occur to me to leave a scathing comment for you to read, just because my idea of "art" differs from yours. In fact... I left no response at all.
      That said.. I am sure hoping that your day improves. Keep in mind.. All Artists are simply trying their best, to leave the world a better place than when they found it.
      Keep doing your Art... and remember... Be nice!
