They never tore down the pairing, they tore down Kyrie. Hey, I agreed with the media on this one. Watching Kyrie force his way out of Cleveland, then the dumpster fires that he left in Boston and Brooklyn, it was hard to take him seriously anymore. Don't forget that he randomly disappeared from Brooklyn multiple times without consulting the team before the whole vaccine fiasco (around when Harden was traded there). Kyrie hasn't had a meaningful basketball moment since the 2017 playoffs (well, one game against the celtics in 22 before he disappeared again). His teams have fallen apart and he has been embroiled in a bunch drama. He is an aging 2 gaurd. They weren't wrong with thier observations. Their opinion was built off of a ton of evidence. And their opinion turned out to be wrong. I for one am truly happy that my opinion is wrong. I love watching an engaged Kyrie on the court. But its not like the NBA media was blasting him out of nowhere.

Ant is great. He is what the league needed. However because of his style of play , Luka all though he gets his praise, is taken for granted. The dude is clutch and has been since he entered the league. He's had a star with him twice now and each time made it to the conf finals.
