Sorry to hear about the shitstorm life seems to bring. I feel the same way about music and getting lost in it. Beautiful playing - makes me want to dive back into my Virus.
The power of music… I feel with you though. Some days you are just best forgotten. It sometimes feels that after covid everybody just stopt caring about others and don’t know how to feel empathy for others or care about other people. It’s depressing at times. Especially in places where people have everything you can imagine it feels people have stopped caring about others. Thanks for sharing your music - beautiful as ever - and your story!
Thanks. Yeah - I don't understand a lack of empathy, but maybe the internet has always been that way. It's a frustrating place to share your thoughts. I appreciate the kind words. Take care!
Doing great keep going , you're melody becomes alive when it's raining and there is no power in house and im alone talking to myself and listening the melodies ❤❤❤❤
Sometimes it doesn't rain, it pours. Sorry, poorly timed pun? Anyway, you seem to be able to keep an even keel when things go wrong, it's a great trait to be able to keep things in perspective. Synth is great as usual (and I'm darned if I know where you get all these awesome synths from).
Hah, yeah - it definitely has been a downpour here. We had another storm come through and destroyed a pop-up canopy tent this weekend. Yay! Thanks :) This specific synth I've had since 2012, it was one of the first synths I ever bought - and it's stayed with me so far.
Hey thanks :) Yeah, I'm glad everyone is safe too. The problem about the order was that - actually the manufacturer is super nice/friendly - but the distributor isn't speaking to me. So basically if I cancel the order, I can't get it because they're the only ones that sell it. And it took me 3.5 years to get off the waitlist. Just... sucks.
Going on 16 days with no reply from them - note that folks on the internet blame me for asking the distributor about whether there was anything we could do given the exchange rates since it was $100+ more to buy in GBP instead of Euros. But, I’d have least expected a “sorry, nothing we can do.” Instead of not responding. The manufacturer said that it’s possible they’re just swamped with orders and that’s why… but I’m still thinking about what to do.
Yo MIDERA, what kind of games? They may not necessarily be ruined. Glad the kids are okay. Sorry about the trees. I hope playing synths keeps working for us. It's my outlet too.
Just kids games mostly - nothing worth a lot per se… like zombie kids evolution. The trees are crappy, $600 to remove the branches (they’re big branches). Our tree guy is awesome though. But I’m sad to lose the apricot tree. And every time we’ve tried planting a tree it’s died :( I hope playing synths keeps working for me too :( it’s pretty much my only outlet.
@@MIDERA Ah I see, board games. Yeah, unfortunately water damage kinda does wreck those. If they were video games, I was going to say, don't throw them out yet. You can often save video games from water damage. Wish you luck with gardening. I've lost a lot of plants lately and I'm hoping for a nicer spring (southern hemisphere).
...How did you know what I was even talking about...? I've considered the Deluge and had some issues with how it works with my gear - but maybe I should reconsider?!
@@MIDERA Ha - because I watch your videos and read your commentary...I had the Ciklon v1 and one thing that it has over the Deluge is multiple midi bus outs which you need if you have the number of symths you have. However. It lacked the immediacy and portability of the Deluge. I sold mine years ago and haven't missed it. I have heard the Oxi has risen in stature considerably but apart from the midi out issue, the Deluge really has so many things going for it: a third of the price of the Cirklon. You can put it in your backpack and immediately reconnect to your studio and test out melodies with the internal synth then use your J6 in a half a second. You have multiple CV outs. Open source. Sampling. Generative. Multiple song modes. Unlimited tracks and polyphony. The OLED screen helps too. Maybe the Cirklon V2 has made a lot of changes but if you want to sit down and play, it's hard to beat the immediacy of the Deluge even without templates. Oh and they community there is very nice. ;) Keep up the great work sir and so sorry about your deck!
Ah - I didn't realize I was that obvious. Well, to clarify Sequentix has been really nice to me, even if the distributor has been unresponsive completely (and I have not felt like the community is particularly welcoming). I have heard lots of horror stories about the immediacy of it, it looks complicated (although so is the Spectralis). The price difference is for sure noteworthy - I should give the Deluge some more thought. If I cancel my order - I don't know if I'd ever be able to get it again. A friend of mine begged me not to cancel my order because he thought I would love it so much. Got the trees all cleaned up and the deck should be somewhat easy to fix I hope. Thanks for the kind words. :)
Thanks - yeah. I wrote to the distributor again - would be nice to eventually hear from them. Three days after purchasing something that big without a reply is ludicrous IMO.
Maybe I can upload it and share it if I saved it. It might still be unsaved but current - so I might be able to do that to provide it. If you don't have a virus TI and want help with something similar, I can see if I have anything there, or I can offer advice about what I'm hearing.
@@MIDERA I have a TI and on the bank D there are some similar presets. Just some tips on how you built it, the idea behind could help as well :) thx in advance!
Storms were wild today. Your sounds are the peace your soul seems to need. Best of luck on the house stuffs.
Thanks! Yeah, the storm came just out of nowhere.
Amazing sound design man I love the somber tone of that patch
Thanks :)
Beautiful. I really must get my TI Polar out from storage and start to play it again.
Definitely! Still one of my favorites as it can do pretty much any sound.
Sorry to hear about the shitstorm life seems to bring. I feel the same way about music and getting lost in it.
Beautiful playing - makes me want to dive back into my Virus.
Yeah - it's ok (as I sit here with a terrible cold and a fever, lol). Just the way it goes sometimes!
Thanks :)
even though it's your escape regardless, thank you for sharing the music with us. always looking forward to your uploads, well wishes :)
Thanks friend :)

Oh thanks! I feel like I should put rain behind some of my tracks and see how that works out. Sounds peaceful. Maybe would be annoying though!
@@MIDERA yeah you can put some light rain sound with little bit of reverb , it can make the melodies more beautiful 🌸🌼
Worth trying for sure! Thanks :)

@@MIDERArain or that old school LP crackle in the background real subtle. nice tune this one
Beautiful
Thanks :)
Superb !!
Simple question for you : prophet 12 desktop or Virus polar ..?
That is the simplest question. The only answer is: Virus Polar (or any other Virus).

And look at what magic you created out of it. Very glad to hear your family is safe, cancel that order...they don't deserve your business.

Yeah for sure… just sucks that a bunch of forum folk seemed to scoff at me feeling like the distributor even owed me a response. I don’t get it :/

forget the Cirklon. Consider the Deluge. Way to fuse your pain into something beautfiul!

well the good news is that you can certainly sell the cirklon for what you paid for it or even more so I hear you that it makes sense to try it.
