This moment is honestly one of my top 5 favorite moments from all of AC. We are at peak emotion, and ezio is disarmed in front of the largest combatant we have yet to see. The music here is haunting. And the line delivery from the bystander is just excellent. I love how the music drops the moment he says "And fast!" Developers did an excellent job at making the player feel instantly helpless.
@@ericdinh4339 Yeah, at the time he only has a sword and thats been gone. Lack of hand to hand combat too since you cant even disarm or any techniques. So that only leaves you with running away. At the time, the devs were smart to make sure the player doesnt start off killing everyone, following the plot when it said to escape.
Well based on characters we meet later, it is assumed Giovanni already made ties with the Thieves, Courtesan, and Mercenary guild and they were all being warned about the Templars getting too powerful, so he was just there to observe, when he saw Ezio, he knew he just had to tell him to run.

I posted up to him. It was a mistake.
You described what most gamers experienced at this moment in ac2.
Good to see how gamers like u relate it with emotions and able to express.
Pro Tip: you can steal heavy weapons here and decimate everyone
omega pro tip, you just use hidden blade in combat and 1shot everyone after parry
You'd better listen to Aku, shape-shifting master of darkness
And later plow his daughter after killing the rest of his daughters.
Ezio: I voiced Sonic the Hedgehog, I think I'll be FINE.
Idk what is it about, didn't need to flee, just parried everything and killed everyone, even brutes.
Ezio had no weapons at that time. He was disarmed by the guards.

@@merimkastrat5846i used to beat the dicktarts out of groups of guards with my fists as a challenge
@@merimkastrat5846there's one way to kill and that's to lure them and tackle them off buildings since heavy guards can't be grabbed and thrown.
How...
Ezio was disarmed by Brute...
that cool
because that dude care about us
is he the guy Ezio has to give a letter to?
what was his deal?
Yes it was him

@@anthonykeating4921 that does make sense. thanks
When you talk back to your mum
when your father caught you smoking with your friends :
I remember this scene this was the scene where Ezio don't know how to deal with the armed men. Except to the fist to fist combat.
As I boy, I can confirm this makes me want to run and fast
Anyone else killed everyone in this part with their fists on their first playthrough? Wasn't until years later I realized you can just leave.
Aku...
Trevor from gta?

Why's General Iroh telling me to run?
Depends. What's this guy's take on me calling tea "hot leaf juice"?
is that Iroh?
yup
Is that Ken from Toy Story?
