i never use the external tool manager to create tools because it doesnt give me a advantage. all i can set there is the same as in the internal tool manager + the coolant modes are wrong in the external one (we have 8 different coolant modes, of which 2 are chip conveyor and bed wash idk what its called in english). I really hope CNCsoftware improves the tool database to include speeds and feeds for each material i have and also specify most doc, woc of most toolpaths available in mastercam. This way i can set a material, create a toolpath, load a tool (i dont have to create multiple tools for different materials) and basically the correct feeds and speeds as well as doc woc etc are all preset. Press calculate, post, run, done. i would also probably tell my supervisor to update to the newest version just because of this.
Thank you for sharing. Very helpful
Thank you for a new cool video
