Yeah the dogs of that residents did that last time I was there. For me I wouldn’t bother with adding any time out activation as I focus on the train going through the crossing. The people at that residents though aren’t an issue. I hope 2024 will be a better year for us railfanners.
I'm not worried about the time out videos as those were only filmed in case the train came back by during one if them as I would save those 3 time outs for their own time out video. The problem is the dogs distracted me when the train ran east towards the yard with the cement plant so I cut that video out of this main video. Luckily, they ran back west to NextCoil so could gwt a proper video(s) of this crossing. I attached the missed activation video and attached it to the time out videos and considering it not a main publish but like a b roll video just to show the train headed east I'll post sometime in the future. The residents weren't the problem themselves as luckliy they could care less about what I'm filming but got distracted by their dogs. I been having a lot of run ins everywhere I go with people more than ever I even had one guy threaten me saying where he's from in LA they shoot people for filming. This era's society has changed my feeling for railfanning the past few years and its gotten worse so far, something I use to enjoy not stress over doing but want to continue. People are violent for no reason nowadays. A few years ago this use to not be as common and back when I started railfanning years ago, everyone seemed more level headed. We can hope 2024 be better but I doubt it.
