Compare Sowore in terms of his ideas, integrity, character, capacity and courage and your know that only the candidate of SDP come close to Sowore not even PO. If I will ask you. Which local government council did PO governed before he became governor of Anambra state. If the Anambra people did not ask Obi to contest for councilor or local government chairman before they voted him for governor instead they considered his capacity and they voted him. It's the same as any other political position including the presidency.

I think what's limiting Sowore chances are
1. He hasn't handled any political office.
2. Charity begins at home, he doesn't have supporters from his tribe, look ath the number of Yorubas supporting Tinubu, if Sowore have that level of support he will win.
3. Manner of Approach, Our old politicians don't want to let power go, they don't want the younger generation to take over. In order to take over Power from them you have to have to find a way around it, which I think Obi has done better. Sowore need to restratezise and form alliance with people who have similar ideology with him.
And finally Sowore and Obi could have collaborated but know the major issue? Who will be the president.
The issue that the president must come from the East is just like secondary, which I think it's one of the reasons people are supporting Obi. For equity and justice. Apart from capacity and whatever.

What is the point of building a university or school buildings without quality education? Obi revamped all the schools in Anambra and made them the most sought-after schools despite being public schools. Anambra moved from 26 to number 1 during his tenure.

Sowore, Obi have not said he build any schools or hospital. Peter Obi has always maintained that he funds the schools and hospitals with cost cutting money from other state wasting projects.
Obi built hospital though. Watch his speech about meeting a Nigerian doctor who performs open heart surgery in the USA. He convinced the man to come hope and be doing the surgery in Nigeria and built hospital in the man's village in Anambra state.
His Administration conceived and built, from scratch, the first state-owned Teaching Hospital, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu teaching Hospital, Awka.
His Government commenced the planned development of the Igbariam Campus of the ChukwuemekaOdumegwu-Ojukwu University, including the fencing, construction of internal roads, electrification, construction of the Faculty of Law, Auditorium, Administrative Block, Faculty of Agriculture, Management Building, among others) amongst others.

Obi build rex universorum hospital in my village in Anambra, with, everything, before major sickness we go to Nnewi or Onitsha... today all Anambra west local government don't travel for healthcare..he handled it over to the missionary,a Catholic sister who is a doctor who had worked in Liverpool England and many places...now the hospital is still doing good... google the name of the hospital I told you about you can see it and the year it was built...no be for mouth

when i look at sowore i see an activist who knows nothing about governace ,i was serving in anambra when obi was govornor ,what sowore does not know is that every community in anambra have schools either built by the community or state government but lack funding ,obi was funding the schools directly by giving every school in anambra 10 million every three month for infrastructure development .he return all the schools to their original owners ,the ministry of education demanded that money should be giving to them to fund the schools obi refused and was supported by wike who was the minister of education

I was blocked by Sahara Reporters for being an ardent supporter of Jonathan. Only god knows the heart of man. But I had the distinct impression that Sahara Reporters was for the apc. In those days, I was very active on Vanguard. They were truly at the Vanguard of free speach. Although at one point they even tried to block me probably due to pressure from the authorities. Happily, the attempt was not serious enough to stop me. Thisday controlled their comments section very tightly and were so subservient, it was incredible. As they say, the rest is history.

We need both quantity and quality. People shouldn't find it hard to gain admission into tertiary institutions. Other countries are trying to educate their citizens while we are begging to be educated. The quantity of universities in Nigeria cannot accommodate a quarter of students looking for admission. Quality and quantity is needed and necessary.

And what we also should do is to make sure that admission is based on merit and not on bribes and or connection. By the way, you can be very successful with qualitative high school and vocational education diploma. University degree is not everything. For instance, one of the richest entrepreneurs in the world, Bill Gate, was a dropout.

In those countries they make sure that there are other qualitative options both in the public and private institutions. In all cases the quality is paramount. The quality of the education system determines the quality of the workforce consequently the quality of produced services and products, innovation and so forth. With other words the quality of the education system determines how competitive a country will perform in the global market. So if we want move from consumption to production it is critical that we upgrade our education system, the quality of all of our educational institutions, from nursery to tertiary institutions.

Great minds discuss ideas, petty and narrow minded ones like sowore, discuss people and do that with jealousy. Sowore should be ignored. He is a man who lacks absorbing defeat,even when he does not know how to prepare well. When he lost in 2019, he became rebellious. He should allign with good ones and learn from them. Obi is a pillar and so strong that if he can be shaken, not a political juvenile like Sowore who is more a students' activist than a politician. Sowore's speeches do not have such political force and eloquence that can convince even market women.

The No1 major problem in Nigeria is the lack of electricity, if this is resolved the economy will make a huge turnaround. I have witnessed many small businesses fold up because their owners were using nearly all their profits to buy petrol/diesel for their generators and on top of this, they were paying for the electricity, which they did not use and bribing the NEPA officials. Most of the business owners returned to their adopted countries when the suffering became unbearable, including me.
