I heard he had just got off a plane and didn't have time to change or anything. AND, it really doesn't matter, because he is always brilliant!
Hua joined singer2020 right after his 2019 Mars concert. On October 26, 2019 Hua Chenyu posted a selfie of his new hairstyle on Weibo, proving once again that he always honors his words. Hua pledged to shave his head should he fail to snatch a ticket for his own concert for the third time. Thats why his hair was short in this performance.
I have just seen a curious jackdaw strutting his stuff in the garden looking for shinny things, seeing this reaction just made my smile.

I so love Hua’s upbeat rocky songs, and when he engages the audience, he’s so good at them. He’s in his traveling clothes there, he arrived minutes before broadcasting, had the shortest rehearsal, so professional! He promised if he couldn’t snatch a ticket to his November 2019 concert he would shave his head, he failed getting a ticket so there you have him with his hair growing 😆 He’s worn lots of hats at his concert 😆

Reason to why Huahua's hair is so super short -- FUN FACTS part 1: Huahua didn't believe his fans that it's difficult to buy his concert ticket, so he tried to buy his own concert ticket in Nov 2019, he failed. To keep trying, his 1 day concert kept adding to 3 days, but he failed all 3 times and had to keep his promise to shave his head, even though he has just gotten a hair product advertisment and it's just about 3 weeks before his concert which he's supposed to look nice (anyway he still looks nice, see it for yourself). BUT WORSE! He even lost to his fans in getting hotel room where his concert was held?!? LOL!! 😅 So this song u reacted to was performed in early 2020 hence his hair is still super short.
FUN FACTS part 2 - why Huahua didn't get his hotel room 😅 - The story was something undisclosed happened some weeks prior to his concert and he had to change concert venue last minute, so i believe everyone including fans had to rearrange their plan last minute. News said fans learned about the hotel he planned to stay and they were always super quick and fully booked the hotel to be with him, so much so that in the end the Idol himself has no room LOL 🤣🤣 His agency asked the hotel to try request some fans to release their rooms and the answer was NO! 😂🤣 then some fans joked that Huahua's "ladies" are so powerful that no one can persuade them to forgo their rooms, NOT EVEN HUAHUA HIMSELF 😂🤣 other fans said that what if Huahua got angry of not getting his room and cancelled his concerts then all fans will be stunned LOL 🤣🤣🤣
MORE FUN FACTS: Huahua's 2020 concert is one that he spent 2 yrs to plan, he started planning when he finished his 2018 concert held in the largest stadium in the whole China. In his yearly concert he will great his Martians with "Welcome Home", so he tried to think of how it should feel like when one comes home. He thought one should feel relax at home, have some munchies and a beer. So he's gonna plot this into his 2020 concert! So it MayBe a concert with Food and drinks!! 🍢🍗🍧🍺 OMG!! LOL, u know our Flower (Huahua) is a FOOD LOVER! But of course now with Covid19 situation, all are uncertain I guess... 🤔

Hi Martin. It is even more fun when you know this is the theme song for the mythical series "Break the Sky". Jackdaw Boy is a reference to Haruki Murakami's character in his novel "Kafka on the Foreshore". The name Kafka is similar to the Czech word for the jackdaw bird. Really fun and clever layers of meaning. The original MV has some fabulous scenes from the series projected behind Huahua as he sings. Flying dragons, everything! Try to see it.

I just love this performance of The Jackdaw Boy. He is just soooo cute. I love the stage lighting which I understand that he designed. I have to watch this almost every day. Please react to Contra in the wild. I love the acoustic version and his best friend is playing the guitar. Together they are perfection.

I really like this song! Well, I like most of his songs, but this one is on my playlist. In the US, Jackdaw rhymes with most "-aw" words: saw, jaw, law, paw. It's a black and gray bird similar to a crow. (Jackdaw also rhymes with "caw," which is the English word for the calls crows make. That might be where the name comes from.) Good reaction!

Then he strikes with such power and rock. Then the seduction starts again it’s the eyes definitely they look into your very soul.
