That is beyond fantastic and what a song. This is a great song on tour. Marr slows it down and starts by playing a barred Cmaj7, sliding up to a Dmaj7, then back down to the barred Cmaj7 to start before dropping back down to the open chords. He stretches the song out nicely, converting some of the "outro" 7ths to 9s and then goes back into the song again.
This is way beyond good. It's excellence! Song choices, passion, execution and commitment shown on all this is presented to us. Many many thanks for your effort! (If I may give some suggestions: Prefab Sprout and The Divine Comedy)
I was playing this all sorts of wrong for years. Not anymore! Also, that great/kind of strange instrument sound you can hear in the background of the whole Outro (sounds like something from a carnival - mellotron or something maybe?) is hard to put a finger on what it is exactly. But it's pretty fun to play in the key of D on a harmonica. Guitar + one of those Bob Dylan harmonica holder thingies. Haven't quite nailed it, putting both together. But it works! And it sounds cool 😎
Your channel is awesome but that intro has to go, it almost makes me want to turn the video off before it begins. I have learnt a lot from your channel though, thank you
Thanks, this sounds good, except you're playing a Cadd2/B, not a C/B, and you're playing a G/C (aka Gadd4), not a C/G. The Cadd2/B should probably be a G/B.

that note always chills me, extremely beautiful and melancholy. Smiths and Johnny Cash make me want to learn guitar
Yes!! Makes me smile even if I am feeling down. Cheers to the power of music 😊

Love how clear you display the tabs, complete with strumming patterns too.
Thank you ! I think you are one of the few people who put on line the complete tutorials (with the tabs and solo I mean)..impeccable. 👍❤️
