As soon as Nate said he hated spies and the dead ringer, I knew this was gonna be a good reaction.
The Dead Ringer isn't that bad anymore. You can no longer refill the charge with ammo boxes or dispensers anymore.
Also the bit with SwatKnight the Pyro hit me way too hard when I saw it. I didn't stand a chance. The game was rigged from the start.

It also makes the loudest sound ever when the spy uncloaks.
If the spy died so quickly always expect a dead ringer is what I always do.

The kind that try to trade a Stout Shako for 2 refried.
We know we deadringer mains are filth the greatest sacrifices require the the greatest wills.
The Dead Ringer is really predictable tbh. And now it's been nerfed so that you _have_ to wait for it to recharge unlike before where you could pick up ammo to refill it (you could also use weapons that gives cloak when you hit enemies). So once you know you triggered the DR, you know that the guy has a long recharge before he gets a feign again.
More tips about the DR:
It has a loud distinct decloak sound.
You can easily see if a spy actually died by checking the scoreboard (your kills will increase if it's an actual kill and you can see if the person's name is grayed out)
The ammo boxes that corpses drop won't actually give you ammo if it's a fake body.
If you know your damage isn't enough to actually kill the spy but he still "died" (like for example, Soviet just shooting Quebec with a few syringe shots) it's pretty obvious you triggered the watch.
Fire can still hit the Spy when he triggers the DR.
Anything that "coats" (Milk, bleed, jarate, etc) the Spy will still stick to the real Spy when he triggers DR.
Nowadays, Spies instant decloak after triggering the DR more so just to get the speed boost from the trigger. Only rarely it's used to fake a death now.
Experienced Spies are still annoying though not because of what they use, but because of Trickstabbing.
I've never played TF2, It took me well over 10 seconds of confused silence trying to figure out how the demoman would be able to cut someone with a "claymore". It wasn't really a stretch for my brain to assume explosive claymore, because demoman, yet I'm still disappointed in myself 🤣

Oh I know how BS spy's disguise can do, literally I stayed on the enemy team for the entire game, not once did they realize that I was a spy casually chilling out in there spawn area
1. Watch all the LazyPurple videos about how it feels and the extras about the. Especially the extras!
2. Valve nerfed the Dick Ringer where it wont regenerate it's freight by ammopacks. Only by time,and resupply cabinets

I can tell you how Quebec could be even more annoying with the dead ringer. Pair it with the big earner, using that negates the dead ringers cooldown timer.
It’s hard to tell what was funnier Soviet fails or Nate’s rage
Quebec was always the villian of ZF, this reaction was glorious!
nobody even uses dead ringer... the decloak is very loud and you can usually predict how much damage the spy has taken, therefore any observant player has the advantage against it and he can prepare for spys loud decloak... it even has a very short invisibility time so the spy cant run very far before being spotted again... only for relatively new players the dead ringer is punishing cos they still havent learned what it does and how to deal with it

Still hard to believe the game is around 12-14 years old. Got it in the Orange Box and I 'think' that came out in 2008? Got to the game on PC around 2011 and couldn't stay connected because terrible frames (was using an old Toshiba Satellite at the time). Good times. Miss the game that it used to be to be honest
As someone who watched a bunch of TF2 videos and streams, I can confirm that Quebec isn’t that good of a spy. Despite him killing everyone which is hilarious.
It does show he's still alive look at the top of the screen if he is dead it would show spy with a death symbol under him

Annnd there's the reaction I was waiting for.
The Dead Ringer was never over powered, people are just very stupid. When it's turned on, getting ANY Damage triggers it. So if you hit someone once, with little damage, and they instantly died? You knew they were a spy with Dead Ringer. They also were very loud decloaking, so easy to hear when they come out of it too.
The 'overpowered' item is the knife he was using part of the time, that allowed him to instantly Disguise as who he stabbed, with no death cry, no attack sound, no body, and no kill feed. Cause unless in a team talking and chatting together, you would literally never know if someone was killed or not, even if 2 feet behind you.
The spy in general is only as good as your opponent will let him be. Of course if you don't pay attention and don't look at the actual kill feed at the top of the screen you won't catch a dead ringer. Most of these deaths could've been avoided if Soviet turned around.

What is more evil Quebec has the your eternal reward so as long as he keeps backstabbing he gets desquises, also wombles team is not warned about his kill unless someone yells it in vc.
There is a very easy way to see if you killed a spy or not. Check the scoreboard if the spy you just killed does not get marked for respawn he used the dead ringer.

As medic main, I always aware of spy either if they good or bad at it, if they tried to do a trick stab ik I should counter that however I'm using the all mighthy Übersaw and if they fail to stab me oh boys free Uber and get crit kill XD

If the kill feed actually showed you (not) killing someone with a Dead Ringer, it might be a LITTLE balanced.
But that is entirely the point of Dead Ringer. To show a fake death so you can sneak away. If it showed didn't show then the enemy team would know and kill you before you could do anything.
