I spent the last year helping out a friend in the home restoration/construction business, he was overwhelmed with work, with very few qualified workers, yet his two daughters (both teenagers), and his wife, were out there, framing walls, hanging/taping drywall, repairing roofs, pulling/installing cables, digging trenches, painting, tiling, the whole nine yards (including laying foundations)...it was a joy to work with them...a great family...

Happened on your Videos from "Recommendations" I do have to say I'm Impressed with the knowledge clearly behind the scenes the natural talent and ease Rachel Presents. I do cringe a bit thinking about what my shop teacher would say about the Hair-Especially pushing it back during the vids- the idea of getting caught-It was a relief seeing she does pull it back into a ponytail. Rachel has a talent for communication and could stand there in a full hoody rain slicker and still get her point across Proficiently. You did inspire me to purchase a 1956 ford 601 Series Workmaster/w Loader It's being delivered literally today- I wouldn't have EVER considered one that OLD before. I have torn down and Rebuilt many newer larger machines and I can say it's all in the Detail and from Production to Personality to Knowledge to Product- Your's is an impression of Quality.

George Womack ... She misspoke a couple times. Not the end of the world. The cover atop the head is not a tappet cover. When she spoke about generator removal, she said she would remove the bolts and push the generator forward. I was seriously eyeballing that to see how it worked. When she did it, she didn't push it forward, she pushed it inward. Again, far from the end of the world, but it was a distraction. Overall, an excellent job of demonstrating how to do an in-frame refresh. I wish she had shown an examination of the valve train operation before removing the rocker shaft. Flat cam lobes have created havoc for people in the past and probably will continue to do so until Musk replaces all IC engines.

Your like the Loch Ness monster. We know it exists but we’ve never seen it. I knew I wasn’t crazy. You do exist. A pretty young lady that fixes engines.

She has a very clear voice. It's very easy to listen to her and understand what she's saying. Camera work is also impressive. But what makes it even easier to watch is that she's so incredibly beautiful.

great video, but can you swipe a vertical pull with a laqcuer thinner-rag up the cylinder. take a stick welder or mig and pull a small, fast, non-penetrating surface bead-weld up the cylinder, egg-shaping it. then after its cooled reach down and pull it out with your hand?

Wish there had been an explanation of wet vs dry sleeve. I have no idea. But Great video. High quality, knowledgeable, pleasant.

Wet sleeve has coolant flowing around it. Dry sleeve does not.

Raised on a small farm is Shannon County Missouri. Worked on all kinds things. Never rebuilt an engine. Interesting as the dickens. Your skill covers the spectrum, including talking and prettiness.

Old timers valve grinder... I used to buy some valve lapping compound at my local auto parts store, then used the valve and a cordless drill for lapping the faces. If you put the same valve back in the hole you lapped, you're almost guaranteed a good seal... Not the "correct" way to do it, but for folks like me, (poor), it works well ;-)
