also with a damage doubler or tripler, if the excess damage is higher then the damage necessary to kill a set of creatures with the same toughness, you gain damage from it, for example if someone has 5 1/1s and you have fiery emancipation, pinging one of the creatures with 1 damage will deal 3 damage, the excess two dealt by toralf will also be tripled to six damage so the next 1/1 will die with 5 extra damage and so on, so you can do powerfull runaway reactions to blow up someone out of nowhere.
Volcano Hellion deals "an amount of damage of your choice" to target creature and to you. So either give it lifelink at instant speed or find some other way to not die, and you can deal 1,000,000 damage to a creature, then 1,000,000-X damage to another target, and so on.
Toralf is also super sweet with Basilisk Collar. Same interaction as deathtouch and trample, where you only need to assign 1 of the damage and then trigger him again, creating a deadly chain.

You only assign combat damage. If he has a trigger for e damage you can't point it at 3/3 and only "assign" 1 even if you have death touch
Great with torbran. If your opponent has 5 1/1 tokens a single lightningbolt kills all five and then goes face for 10.
