Ray, I struggled with health anxiety and am now coaching people with anxiety issues. I took this as a spiritual thing and thought if I could coach and bring people to the understanding of what it means to have a relationship with Christ, this what I was going through is worth it!! Not only was this a rough part of life for me, but it opened my ears to God.

Love what Oscar said about not making an excuse just because you might be an introvert, or social anxiety, or whatever else it may be... I am glad I heard that exhortation! As I have made that excuse about my social anxiety for the longest time. I want to so badly go up to a person and start a conversation and share the Good News with them. But, I always let fear overtake that I'll fail to get the message across and that I'll look like an idiot. I also don't feel comfortable around people due to a couple of other things. This year, I truly want to make all the changes in my life and that the Lord will give me a new confidence in Him and a boldness that could only come from Him!!! And taking the focus off me, and doing it for Christ ❤️🙏🏻. I am thankful for the meantime that I can share the Gospel online confidently.

I learn so much from this podcast on how to minister in different scenarios. Just ordered both books EZ recommended at 1:14:00. When I got born again in 1986, I was given a couple of books-and one of them was Jerry Bridges pursuit of holiness. So I'm interested to see this other one by him so many years later. For anybody reading this I want to encourage you that God has been faithful to me, and I've never gotten over his so great salvation!

And my prayer is "God please don't let my pain be in vain!". My life and my heart were crushed beyond repair a few yrs ago and I just felt like giving up until I started realizing how He used that time to grow my faith and I hope the faith of the people who hurt me. I now pray "Lord Your will be done". And I just ask Him to open doors and then show me where I need to be. Thanks so much y'all for this. Needed this tonight. 😭

Finding it hard to deal with personal problems and reality of what is going on in the world. Escapism is something I struggle with on a daily basis. @joan I don’t believe it’s a coincidence I came across this video talking about anxiety when I was stressed out this morning, I read a chapter of the BIBLE every day, right now I’m reading the book of DEUTERONOMY and this morning I read chapter 27, verse 17 says “Cursed is anyone who steals property from a neighbor.” Similar things like that have happened to me before. I’ve seen to much of it to think it’s coincidental
Ambient anxiety- American dream is the constant pursuit of happiness- lies from the devil. amen! Discontentment- absolutely! Praying God gives us gratitude. One pastor once said, God is most glorified when we are most satisfied. Pls Jesus, give me wisdom to be grateful!
Currently there are many negative changes that have, and that continue to take place in our world, that said it is somtimes hard to keep our eyes on tne only one that can give us peace, that peace can only come from our Lord Jesus, draw close to him and he will draw close to us, be in the Word and hang out with those who are like minded it helps when we are going through difficult times when we are going through it with others. who believe as we do.

I started to watch this a few days ago not so long and I just get to finish watching it today November 1, 2021. I really enjoy it and I like it cause they not only make funny things about something in a healthy way but as one church they give us something to understand not only about sharing the gospel but also about who is God and for what purpose he made us all.
