I mostly play murlocs too lately. I cant get any builds going otherwise. Everything else is too highroll. You either land this one piece early or you die.

@@petertastic It's what he does, he complains. He got a good murloc start in this game which allowed him to push for a super early tavern 6 and then he rolled into 5 megasaurs. There was literally nothing challenging about his game. Meanwhile, you saw that your only shot at winning the game was to go for the super risky murloc transition in the mid-game which almost got you killed, but ultimately got you 2nd place. I'd say you outplayed everybody in the lobby, but Kripp got much luckier which allowed him to pull off the victory. Still, if you ask him, "never lucky."
ALWolf Cannon was definitely better in this situation lol I didn’t even try to pick one up. I still think ghoul was better than selfless. It makes the round closer to 50/50,

Not sure about skillful, if you know the strategy is mostly just high APM and a bit of luck... its just usually a lot safer than going murlocs the whole game tho, so I guess there’s the skill in knowing that as well

Imo murlocs aren’t a big problem in the game. You get to see the crazy highroll games on yt but you miss out on seeing the games where not everything goes right. Pirates and dragons are just as highrolly as murlocs they just don’t preform as well
I’m okay with murlocs getting poisonous and Devine shield but the problem is that they can get it too quickly and easily. My opinion is that blizzard should remove megasaur and replace it with the paladin card from mean streets of gadgetzan, grime street protector, that gives adjacent minions Devine shield. That way, murlocs are still the only tribe that can get poisonous and Devine shield but they have to do it manually over the course of several turns. Grimestreet protector would also buff some of the other weaker tribes such as stat based demons.
Mukla should give opponents banana scraps instead which would only be either 1 health or 1 attack, a 1 mana 2/1 or 1/2 buff (taking the opponents away from your buffs) is a standard hero power

Yeah I dont understand how transitioning from a early/mid game cannon build to murlocs by having to obtain brann and kadgar then getting the murlocs is a problem when kripp is literally just going murlocs the whole time and being handed them every round.
Kripp hates the megasaur attack buff so much that he took divine shield and poison over the attack even though he had Devine shield and poison on all of his murlocs XD
I think khadgar is a important part of battlegrounds because your opponent might get high rolls while you getting low rolls so with khadgar you get to break your rng and most of the player not able to pull of that strat so it's not a big problem at all

The tokens play a similar roll to the cannon. They're there to hopefully absorb a divine shield whether they attack into it or the plants attack into the other units. Either way if you have a game with a six divine shield poison murloc mirror if one has the plants and one doesn't it will HEAVILY help the player with the plants unless if they have taunt.

"not super easy" as in, you need Khadgar and Brann for it? Well you always want Brann for Murlocs and Khadgar is a 3Star unit. It actually IS kind of easy if you compare it to any other possible fast strategy switch (so mainly only Beasts as alternative). I would go further than Kripp and remove Brann (and Baron) as well as he allows just too many stupid things to happen / is too much of a game winner compared to other cards.

Philerino the issue with murlocs is brann, you can still be strong in the mid / early game as long as you hit a brann and then just search for megasaur and buffs the whole rest of the game, atleast if brann is tier 6 you can actually punish murloc players early then.
It frustrates me to see Kriop holding on to low stat murloc scouts that has no chance of getting a tripple (without divine sheild or poison ) and selling tier 3 murlocs that has better base stats.It would deal much more damage to players.
In my opinion, your mid game placement could be more efficient, when several units have poison I think it is wise to place those with the most health after the others

So, as you guys probably know, I'm not a big fan of Reno Jackson, in fact, I think, it's a pretty crappy hero, but Battlegrounds is not all about playing the best heroes all the time. (Not for me at least.) But hey, Reno just received a new buff, his hero power now costs 2 instead of 3, and while I'm still trying to figure out what that means, experimenting with new strategies, the games are a little bit longer - not that much, maaaaybe a turn, sometimes a half turn, so that means, the hero power itself is not bad! Now, the main issue with Reno is that most of the people wanna use the hero power *after* committing to a strategy. You know, like turning a Baron or a Brann into a golden card. Well, here's the thing: if you can get a fair early game, you don't have to get a golden copy of Brann, it's simply good enough if you get it first in the lobby. That means, it's worth at least considering to use the hero power even on a taven 2 card, like Kaboom Bot, or rather, the Rat Pack! It's even better if King Mukla is present in the game, because he gives you an easier way to buff your beast. Having a 7/7 in the early game, that summons seven 2/2-s, or even five, is preeetty good. With this strategy, you can power level very fast without barely losing hp, then you can enter the late game with a slight advantage, where you can transition into, you know, a real build. Reno Jackson! Is it a good hero? Probably not. Is it worth to try? Definitely. So check it out if you like the idea, hope you're also going to like today's video, and I'll see you guys next time :)
why does kripp say windfury is bad? doesn't that mean the poisonous get double attack? or is it cuz the windfury is likely to go into a shield in this specific scenario?
It's broken if it allows you to go from a dead-end midrange build into a solid lategame build with no chance of getting punished. Maiev is also perfect for that sort of thing because you can chain minions that you might need later for 1 mana. Hit a Khadgad here, a Murloc Tidehunter there, pick up another one and you got yourself a gold machine.
It's getting to the point where I feel like I've already seen just slightly different versions of his new videos dozens of times already with these murlocs.
Chadgar is not the problem with murlocs, murlocs are the problem with murlocs. Transition with the chad is very high risk reward strategy, where you need apm skill. Forcing murlocs and high rolling however is not a skill.
Murloc switch from anything else and brann-kadgar spam is literally the mid-range build of Murlocs. You just hope to get lucky and it is trash. Blizzard isn't ready to talk about balancing murlocs and their broken interaction with the combo

@Kripparrian What do you think about a new game mode where instead of vsing 1 player each round, you vs every player and take damage equal to the average of your losses (0 if 0 or positive)... or maybe just take 1 damage for every loss? Battlegrounds is a creatively stagnant game mode. After two days you've seen everything. Constructed has more variety. Arena had WAY more variety. I don't understand how people can take this game mode seriously.

the only 2 battlecries in T6 are megasaur and amalgadon, so with brann you see them a lot.

Khadgar / Brann transitions is one of the coolest things in the game, it's not shit anyone can pull off, I wouldn't call it broken
It's broken if it allows you to go from a dead-end midrange build into a solid lategame build with no chance of getting punished. Maiev is also perfect for that sort of thing because you can chain minions that you might need later for 1 mana. Hit a Khadgad here, a Murloc Tidehunter there, pick up another one and you got yourself a gold machine.
By turn 11 he's had 3 megasaurs. The game was already over. As usual for the few matches that end up as Murloc tube.
It's getting to the point where I feel like I've already seen just slightly different versions of his new videos dozens of times already with these murlocs.

Chadgar is not the problem with murlocs, murlocs are the problem with murlocs. Transition with the chad is very high risk reward strategy, where you need apm skill. Forcing murlocs and high rolling however is not a skill.
Why are you skipping the +3 attack buff and you get double poison/divine shield?

Murloc switch from anything else and brann-kadgar spam is literally the mid-range build of Murlocs. You just hope to get lucky and it is trash. Blizzard isn't ready to talk about balancing murlocs and their broken interaction with the combo

@@Keib it is pay to play not pay to win. I am a free to play player and i played for 2 months every 3 days my quests and boom i can build multiple good tier 2 builds which do not require a lot of legendaries. Dust is op, stop crying, l2p.
Kadgar is not a probelm. Megasaur is the probelm.
@Kripparrian What do you think about a new game mode where instead of vsing 1 player each round, you vs every player and take damage equal to the average of your losses (0 if 0 or positive)... or maybe just take 1 damage for every loss?
That way there's no variance about who you're matching up against. Dunno what the screen would look like though :p haha
Why never get +3 attack... even when your murlocs have poisonous and divine shield you pick that AGAIN over the attack haha

If you get them triple poison it becomes golden venom, which can punch through divine shields
the fact is murlocs being the only endgame build is a problem and im sick of people pretending its not. other tribes need a way to get poisonous in the endgame or megasaur needs to be removed.
I'm starting to really get tired of Kripp's videos. It's the same thing, video, after video, after video. The BG content used to be interesting, now it's just ANOTHER Murloc build video after another.
the complaining also is the same every video. "ohh look, another cannon build" "lost 50/50, so unlucky". i wonder how other streamers stay so positive and make it fun to watch, must be the extraordinary bad luck of kripp
Thankfully for about a week or two we can get some constructed videos when expansion drops
Battlegrounds is a creatively stagnant game mode. After two days you've seen everything. Constructed has more variety. Arena had WAY more variety. I don't understand how people can take this game mode seriously.
Well just don't watch it then go watch Thijs for constructed or w.e
