This is the best film ever and isn't Tom Hanks just amazing? he could play ANY part, the man is a genius. The best bit HAS to be when the bath goes through the floor and Tom Hanks does his amazing hysterical laugh! Thanks for putting this up on here, 5* =]
It was the turkey popper going off. Most turkeys sold in supermarkets have this little spring-loaded plastic popper held in place with an epoxy resin. The idea is that when the turkey has reached the "perfect" temperature, the resin melts and lets the home-cook know that the meat is cooked through and is safe to eat. Unfortunately, poppers aren't that realiable. If one goes by the turkey popper, you will usually just get a dry, overcooked bird. Digital probe thermometers are the way to go.
i love this film....whould u be able to upload the whole disaster bit when he falls out the window and goes down the scaffolding and down the hill into the fountain...i love that bit x
Luv this movie. Our family saw this movie in the 80s...and laughed the whole way through. Up UNTIL the time we started to live it after we bought a relatives house...we literally went through a plethora of similar sitatuons (one thing after another...we ended up paying more for it in repairs from top to bottom than a new house)...but we laughed and made fun of each other ...the first four years...because of this movie. LOL. Ridiculous. Still surprised that house is standing...the neighbors house collapsed years ago. (course we don't live there.)
If Shelley Long's character Anna Crowley is playing viola, one thing I'd like to know is if the viola playing is indeed the actress's own or, instead, that of a skilled violist?
who does not love that movie!
Tom Hanks facial expressions are priceless!
mcsquare77 LOL IKR?
