i like the ending of the book because it shows that it's not just a kids book and won't have a happy ending of things continue the way they are now, such is life.
This story depresses me in so many ways like boxer dies which is so sad because the pigs sent him to be killed even though he was loyal and it’s even worse that the pigs became racist tyrannical rulers that become just as bad or worse then humans fuck I hate the world
It sucks because, for the most part, we are boxer. We work our ass off for the good of society, while a select few real all the benefits and probably would sell us for parts when we’re dead if they could.
Orwell was writing about human nature as much as he was the Soviet experience. He had no need to confine his imagination to Soviet history. Animal Farm is eternal and is still happening all over the world today. This is the story of every corrupt person and abusive country on the planet. Read it again and keep up with the news. I guarantee you recent events will line up with AF no matter when you read it. Napoleon never really goes away.

this book was SO messed up, I want to re write the ending now.
