Hi Tasleem, as i was growing up, i always thought that a "bad boy" was defined much differently. Listening to what you read, i guess i was a "bad boy" all my life, since my personality matches more from your reading.
    Thank you for sharing this.

Oh, that's a good point, Gary! I guess maybe different people have a different idea of what a bad boy is. I'm so curious what your idea of a bad boy was growing up. Thanks, always, for your comments. :-)

What I know of a bad boy is the James Dean kind of persona who is self assured, quiet type of individual whom girls seem to gravitate towards.
I grew up as a caring individual who would open doors for women, pay for dates and treat a woman as the special person that they were. The bad boy on the other hand does not have to do any of this as the women are throwing themselves at him.

We are all wounded by life. The important thing is to not turn away but to have the courage to look at it with compassion. So that we can see our wounds clearly, accurately. So that we can process them and release the pain and free ourselves from the blockages. The poet Rumi famously said "The wound is the place where the Light enters you" suggesting that our emotional pain and suffering can lead to personal growth and healing. By confronting and embracing our wounds, we allow wisdom and understanding to emerge from our experiences.
Wisdom and understanding are two more qualities to add to your list of ideal attributes.

Beautiful insight. Thanks for sharing this, Paul. I think it gets tricky when we don't even realise we are wounded and just think that we attract who we attract. That it's just our "luck", or lack thereof. So I love that you added wisdom and understanding to the list because that also helps us shed light on how we can shift things when we become more aware.
And the Rumi quote- yes! He was one brilliant mystic.
      Have a great week!
