- This video covers my entire Deadside 0.5.0 experience, with tons of PvP, loot hoarding, and even raiding. Editing this video was insane, so I hope the hard work produced a video that you guys will enjoy :)

As an aside, I think this game could do well on consoles. Current gen series X/S and PS5. The game is not as complex as DayZ or Tarkov and I think it could satisfy a gap in the console market.

why does that matter? all you need is a full server (50) or a server that continually hits over 30-40 players.

Yh true, their definitely should be more amors in the game and stronger ones. Cuz everything below the best armor in the game is trash. Even the best armor is not that good.
@@eliasspriet1613 yeah. Best armour only good for surviving a sniper shot (except m99) and a close range shot gun shot. Both leave you at around 3-5 health. A machine gun will melt you just as fast it seems. I’d like the max armour to give 300 health and then maybe more people will use it coz it’s rare I find it on anyone and I always use it

@@PawpiChoolo go in a building and go close to a window and aim down sights and move left and right slightly and you’ll rubber band. This is when it’s most apparent (170 FPS 25 ping and 1000mb Internet before you say anything)

I’ve got about 70 hours on this game starting this wipe so I might just be dumb but what is this new island that you keep talking about? And is it worth it? Any red key crates?

Loaf where the f do you find the black set of gear. Been playing this game since the last wipe and haven't found one black backpack, or black heavy vest.

Buddy of mine just lost the base he build as he forgot to log on within I think 7 days, and now he doesn't feel like grinding and putting in the work to build a new one again which is understandable as the first one was pretty neat already, so he just stopped playing DS all together. I understand the need for wiping unused bases periodically but wouldn't it be better to extend that period? Also what do you do when you're on a holiday and steamless? :P
Should be a wipe every month imo 7 days is giving too much commitment to the game if you have a busy life

prone is for hardcore/mil-sim type survival games. this game is easy and casual and should stay that way. proning will ruin this game 100%

They have a solid base game here. But the game needs much more depth. It doesn't take long to get the best gear in the game. After that, there's no real incentive to play. There's really no gameplay loop. I love the game, but once you get everything you need, it gets repetitive very fast.
thought this game was big on the fact you couldnt offline, clearly this wasnt but you eluded that there isnt online defenders?

I have to laugh a little bit about this "insane" raid :)) . From my perspective this was like a fight between silvers in cs go.
First of all : the base had a poor location, and was poorly build. Clearly the base was owned by someone without experience in this game.
Second : the defending was kinda lame, if I can call that defending.
I had to laugh at 13:17 when I saw the "holy shit" loot. I know groups that have in their bases at least 20 AR4s, 20 M99s etc...that is for me "holy shit".
Anyway I'm not trying to make fun of this video but to kinda warn people who didn't play this game at all : when you encounter high lvl players, who take the game seriously, it's nothing like you saw in this video. They make the raid almost impossible. These kind of people always have bases in open spaces, surrounded by other friendly bases, who defend the raided base with m99s so it's very hard, if not impossible, to even put a C4 on a raided base. Second of all, almost everyone has an alt account that they use to store the important stuff on it and don't play with it. So even if you manage somehow to raid one of the bases, you'll still won't be getting the best loot possible. And also the game sense, the aiming and tactics is nothing like you saw here.
My point is that this game get's boring at a certain point, and again, from my perspective, at this stage is mainly for casual players. Maybe I'll come back someday, when is more polished.
Sounds like maybe you haven't played the game or aren't thinking clearly. Having a second account does nothing because you can't transfer loot from account to account. The account you gain the loot with is where the loot stays.

@@PawpiChoolo Good! Then you should be able to explain how you get the "good" loot on one account and then transfer it to another account! And also while you're at it tell us how nice it is to have the "good" gear on the first account but never use it and also why you would spend the time to build a base to protect lower tier loot.
