    Strategic bombers need bigger airfields, while fighters and tacticals can land on dirt airfields.

    Is there a "victory path" where it is possible to cross Suez like in PC or is it somewhat railroaded like in OoB?

      Hopefully they have it hypothetical and let you cross the Suez and a possible African victory but guess we will see.

    So my question is, is it included in the main Campaign from 1939 to 1945 and i wish they would do like Panzer Genersl 2 and let you start in the Spanish Civil War so you could be more experienced in the Poland Campaign..

      @thehistoricalgamer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually didn’t like Panzer General 2 nearly as much as Panzer General 1... but that said the main campaign I assume has a branching option to either go down the Russian or the North African path. I’m not 100% sure but that’s how Panzer General 1 worked and given the campaign options exactly mirror Panzer General 1 I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they did.

      @@thehistoricalgamer i hope your right or even give the option to go to the desert campsign then to the Eastern front after the completion of Africa and start at the year you complete the African Campaign and carry over core units.

      Agreed, my biggest complaint at release of Panzer Corps 1 was leaving out the desert... those were some of the most iconic panzer campaigns.

    The Vickers carried a Machine Gun as main armament and was too small to function as any sort of troop transport.

    I have noticed (while playing Grand Campaign) by the time I got to N. Africa that no matter what advantage I had, the AI would always do considerably more damage.... using Pz III J-L Pz IV G should be wreaking havoc on UK Armor.. even better armored than there Cruiser tanks.. but for some reason... the AI did great damage, and when attacked never really did more than what they would do and there weapons at least factually speaking were inferior... Also I dont think the player can alter history at all.. the last two battles I played in N. Africa the El Alemein battles. first one I had a Victory.. (even though could not take bonus areas as they were protected by no less than 10 tank and AC units... totally 20 Tank units to take out in possibly 4 turns) The last mission of El Alemein was just a joke.. I mean whats the point of even playing if you cant possibly obtain a Victory or alter the events.

    If our new Zealand army doesn't get a unit of Bob semple tanks I'm suing the company for discrimination although I guess tanks of their power might be too god tier and upset too many gamers.

    developers focus to much on unit model design then game itself.if you doing 3d model then why terrain is flat 2d.first panzer corps was much better in first look.

    Good to see that you are as inept as usual on the battlefield. You almost attacked a town defended by infantry with armour. You continue to attack piecemeal having no understanding of the concept of artillery/infantry/air support. You fail to appreciate that the FIRST role of Air power is to gain air supremacy. Namely by denying the enemy use of the air.
    Other than that a enjoyable video albeit a train wreck in progress.

      @@Grunge1012 Sorry for the delay. His biggest mistake is that he doesn't understand that he needs to use his units to support each other before and after attacking. For example he attacks a city ,defended with infantry, and gets a bloody nose for his efforts. How he should attack is move your infantry unit so that it borders the defender but don't attack. Then move another infantry unit next to your other attacking unit but still don't attack the defenders. This has the effect of reducing the defence of the defender as they have to defend against two attackers. Then move a artillery unit directly behind your infantry. This has the effect of support firing if your units are attacked. I usually keep tanks on the flank or directly behind the artillery.
      He then attacks with the Air Force suppressing the defenders. A artillery barrage onto the defenders further reduces the entrenchments and weakens the defenders. Finally attack the defenders with 1 unit of infantry. If you win and the defenders withdraw use you tanks to occupy the city. If not attack with the 2nd infantry unit and a win usually results. You can then use your tanks to Breakthrough further down the road. That is HOW units support each other and is the REAL secret to Blitzkrieg. Hint: think twice about tank versus Infantry unless the infantry are caught in the open and the Panzer I and Panzer II are the best tanks for this job.
      Hope this explains my comments better.

      Based on how terrible games have been in the past decade, I am glad they are returning to something that was good and popular. Remakes and remasters are popular now because gameplay and story by current game developers have no imagination and are terrible at the elements that make games good and popular.

      @@Evirthewarrior Your right, i certainly cannot disagree with you on the state of gaming................cant help but feel this is devolving gaming. Powerful computers that could render large scale battles ie eugens game engine for the steel division and red dragon war games.. really good detail to units and terrain, large scale battles with lots of units. Instead i get a fancy 2d view of moving a unit picture onto another unit picture. Just makes me sad.
