I checked this out on your website, wondered if it'll be on TH-cam and now, here it is! The first display of 2022. Love that '71 Chevelle SS, especially @ 4:38 where you peeled off. Beautifully displayed, Callie, beautifully displayed!
Damn, those rims look AWESOME on, this style Chevelle. I, swear those are my favorite rims EVER on most Chevy muscle cars from the mid 60's to the mid 70's. Camaros, Chevelles and Monty Carlos especially.
Nice ride! Not picking on this car but Just noticed the front bumper looks like maybe from a 70 Chevelle ? and the cowl induction hood is missing the flapper near the windshield? I Use to own a 71 Malibu /Chevelle non ss. I never seen turn signal's on the bumper on a 71 or 72 Chevelle the 71 had clear lenses and the 72 had amber lenses at the front corner of the fenders. looks like the cowl induction emblems were added on a GM Domed hood.Any one else notice this? I miss my 71 !!!
Good eye on that front bumper, you are correct, that would be a 1970 front bumper as it has the marker lights in it, and in 71 and 72 they had moved to the fender extensions. I wonder if all four worked on this, or if the bumper ones were left just to fill the holes.
Do we know if we are looking at an LS6 or an LS5 454? (I won't divulge anything more about the differences between the two motors here but curious, of course, which 454 we are looking at in this beautiful 1971). Thanks kindly!
@@musclecarsforsaleinc Okay. What I know of these motors AFTER 1970, we now get into the LS4 motor which was born for 1973 and lasted for two years before being discontinued. Thank you Tom and Callie. By ALL means, keep up the good work. Even though I am a Chevelle guy, I love the Mopars too and will be keeping an eye on your listings!
Wish i was in Florida right now.
Im stuck in the frozen tundra.
Ya Cold Here 75 LOL
Take me for a ride!!! King Patrick
I will take both of them .
Very nice classic ride, but not a true cowl induction setup.
its a cowl hood flapper was ordered option back then
Eahhh, cool sound.. Cool Callie

@@musclecarsforsaleinc And was only available in 1970, after that year this was the SS hood option.

Well if the Air cleaner decal is correct, then yes it's an LS6 !!
1973 454 HP stamped on back so not sure what it came out of but its not a real SS but a clone

It has to have been an LS5, seeing as GM only put it in the Chevelle for the 1970 model year, and in 1971 only offered the LS6 in the Corvette.
There she goes again burning off those new tires. She is so lucky to show off those great looking cars. PS. And herself 🙂🙂🙂
