Agreed. If we expect Trina to nurture relationships with two dads, we should be able to support Spencer in developing a relationship with Trina and his brother. Hopefully after today they’ll be better at talking to each other. Hope she’s able to honestly voice her frustrations with his living situation as well without feeling like she’s trying to make him choose.
I agree. At this point, he can hire a nanny move across the hall from Laura, anything just get him away from living with Esme. That would be one important step in the right direction.
Spencer is NOT RESPONSIBLE for his family's bad reputation & previous schemes. They have an entire LEGACY built upon that; the majority of which happened WAY BEFORE he was even born. SPENCER has been a "victim" of his family's wrongdoing firsthand, and is trying his best to break that cycle the best way he knows how - through his efforts of being accountable of things that he's done & working to improve himself; and by helping to take care of his little brother so the cycle isn't continued. A lot of this "turnaround" can be attributed to TRINA, and her POSITIVE INFLUENCE upon him. She's Patient, Kind, Compassionate, and Loving towards Spencer when MOST of the people in his past wouldn't be; and he's FLOURISHING because of it. He FINALLY knows what it feels to be GENUINELY LOVED & He'll do ANYTHING & EVERYTHING he can to protect it.
This is what Alexis was telling Esme today when she brought up her family. Alexis also told her that she didn't trust her and she has reason to not, she stole some pages out of one of the file boxes..
You can tell that Trina was kind of hesitant about leaving Spencer alone with her Mom!!! 😅 She looked back several times as if to say, "Are you going to be okay out here with her by yourself?"
I noticed that and I loved it, poor Spencer, he knew Portia was coming after him again. Trina & Spencer are just too cute for me, boy them two have made this couple so complex, loving, wanting more of them, and additive to their thought process.

While they stood in the background listening he kept rubbing her arm in a reassuring way, even though she seemed too concerned about Curtis to actually acknowledge it, I believe it reassured her knowing he was there and being supportive. 😊

Portia has selective memory when it comes to Trina being in danger. Her first and second encounters with danger was because of Taggart. An abduction and shoot out with Cam and then in a hostage situation with Portia herself. Portia lied about het affair and paternity and Taggart faked his death. Curtis has ties to Selena and Portia has the audacity to talk about Spencer. Leave him the hell alone already he was second guessing himself and pleading with Trina and she's looking at him like what are you talking about. You can tell they love each other. For Sprina to survive they need to Communicate and tell each other everything.

Why did he wiggle her arm? I want them to go somewhere private and finish their conversation. Go to the chapel and talk , so they can truly express what each are really feeling. Who knows they might actually say I LOVE YOU. I feel once they say that everything is going to change for them. They are never going to let each other go, and Portia can do her worst in breaking them up. If Portia goes to Esme for help in breaking up Spencer and Trina I want Esme to expose Poria and tell them exactly what she was up to.

What frustrates me about these scenes is no one ever overhears Portia being nasty to Spencer. So Trina will never find out. It would have been better to have had TJ overhear the entire conversation, so that he could later retell it (to Trina, Curtis, etc.) or confront Portia or counsel Spencer? vs walk up at the tail end and zoom in on him. Wasted story telling.
