When I watch these videos, I always cry because I have had a dog since I was 16 years old and now, I'm 73 and I have a German Shepherd that I adopted from the shelter. I always adopt. How anyone could abuse dogs like what we see here when they would die for you, always upsets me. True, I like animals more than people.
Those trusting, innocent eyes. He’s so cute. What on earth would all this abuse victims do without Victor to help them. Thank you Victor, Roy is under excellent care now.
How can someone treat a poor little guy like this, my heart is breaking for him he must be in so much pain and suffering and all he wants is love and he would give love back 100 times over, bless him ❤

We rescued a beautiful dog who reacted everytime just as Ro did to Victor. She stayed just out of kicking reach and it was many months before she trusted my dear gentle husband. She was very well loved and her name was Abby. She lived until she was 17 until 1979 and we still miss her to this day.

Oh my God! What world do we live in? I saw so many horrible things that people did to their dogs and cats when I was little. I couldn't even protest or cry because I was raised in a conservative family. I actualy was a victime of one of those monters. Thank you so much for your bravery and kindness. You don't have a rescue home but a Sanctuary (a heaven before heaven for some dogs and cats).

I had the pleasure of spending two days with Roy. He is a wonderful, playful puppy and loyal companion to Winston. His gait and steadiness seem to have improved since he's been at The Great House where he eats good food, receives love, and has friends. 🐾🤍🤎🐾 BTW, many of the dogs living at The Great House have great affection for Martin. Like his wife Maribel, he exudes love and compassion! Sarah shows us what love and compassion can do to heal a broken heart. I'm thrilled she is now living with her best friend Queenie!
