"Best & Worst" are certainly up to everyone's own opinions, but I would like to share my own opinion on this. I think stages that "requires super high level" are very rare and is generally up to their progressions, like F47 is basically centered around level 50s - which, honestly, is fair enough despite me only using level 40s lol, nearly all casual players who has access to F47 already has like way over level 50 anyways. I'm not saying this point is invalid, but I think it's just too, err, relative? One that I can think off being rather BS for their supposed progressions are NRF 2/3 stars as well as the superior zombie orb stage. The latter in particular is complete BS. RNG-based stage is fair point obviously, though... honestly I personally don't find March to Death to be that bad? I know this is a very unpopular opinion though, but legit most of the MtD failing runs I see are like, 80% the player's fault. (Mistimes, spawning Catyphoon during SMH phase, very awkward loadouts etc). Granted, it is one of the most rng-required stage, i suppose... Probably only rivaled by Clash of Steel. Metals in general imo are only frustrating if you go in blind and the game doesn't give an obvious hint that there will be metals. Especially in the current 2020 meta, Metal enemies are, without a doubt, one of the easiest trait to counter, maybe only rivaled by Black and Floating. Cyclone drop cats' true forms are crazy broken, where even now the relatively scary-looking Koronium is easily countered if you own Lolly's metal slow talents, and not to mention the existence of Crazed Moneko and Cameraman crit jumping into the somewhat new antimetal meta units. While it's true that there's those "non-variety" stages, I think it's..... rather unfair to use catfruit stages as examples. Sure, they're not the best stages around, but they're farming stages.. that last bit you mentioned about having fun when you are lucky is so very true. its very fun watching other people struggle while i easily clear itf with lumina.
I personally think that good reward stages are way better, nothing makes you happier after unlocking a crazed/manic. Also stages that require timing, not skill like Realm of Carnige. Such a good fealing when u can beat a stage while underleved
Imo i like when stages throw completely random buffed enemies at you. It adds to the craziness factor of the game. For that, Satans Bedroom is my personal favorite level. I think early-mid sol (jailbreak tunnel-dead end night) are really nicely designed because they make you strategize. Like it’s mainly couple of hard enemies that you have to use certain cats to beat it. Though some cat make it a lot easier to defeat (like octopus cat).

You know I think I like the mid and the early gameplay because every thing is so simple and more strategy based and less extremely hard. Also you get to use the basic starter cats which are my favorite kinds of cats.
Worse stage of all time: Gilgamesh 3 stars, literally 30+ retries, rng to the max and basically impossible without hyabusa. Not to mention the only no uber strat at the time relied on VALK PROC
"I like it when I'm the one who has the super broken cats that nobody else does, carrying me through levels that make lesser peons tear their hair out." >Me with hypermaxed Alt Saber CC from the Fate colab: :)
1:45 Does procastinador parade checks every thing that you mention as well? 1need high level manic and normal cats, or fest exclusive uber as well as gladios and maybe myrcia. 2 crits from r.ost if r.osts crit it can ruin your meat shields 3 r.ost spam and camelle
I dont have a problem with hard "boring" stages, as long as i get good rewards, might be a big grind of strategy or rng, but as long as i feel rewarded at the end of my strugle.
So I just downloaded the game a few minutes ago, I did a rare cat capsule since I didn't listen to my friends telling me not to do it and I got musashi miyamoto. *for my first rare cat capsule ever* I am speaking about the legend rare
I agree with the one about bosses with extreme hp and damage it's just fun to spam meatshields this is why I like things like the crazed/manic stages ones like Deathhawk and Vulcanizer
Agreed ! When I failed many times on floor 47 and cleared floor 47 easily when I tried Herchrist and killed puffy in 2 or 3 strike. Felt so happy. If not for Herchrist, I may need to conquer floor 50 another time. Btw head rococo from bikkuriman is quite a good cat too, help me on Horrorpotamus stage 40 to 60.
Musashi with no wave immune/wave block isy favorite. I just like how you are punished for overextendimg, but the punishment isn't hard, it is rather easy to come back from it
For me, the worst stages are those that force you to use rich cats, the ones that you have to have a strong attacker but you just can't get it early enought.
This man is speaking facts, im so happy when i got rei and im just running floating stages down so easily AND sadly from the uberfest i just have the new one the tank one, i want the more overpowered ones :c
One of my personal favorite stages in Battle Cats is Atrocious Deco. Five bosses, two of which spawn at once, most of which have different traits, forcing you to be able to handle each of them at once. You can't just cheese it without Ubers due to how different each Boss is, but having all the right CC units to deal with them in conjunction with proper DPS, it feels super rewarding to finish.
How you said that "destroying a stage others struggle on is the most satisfying" This happened to me and all my friends who play battlecats they were struggling on the floating continent and getting like 500 score but in my first 11 draw i got bloody jack which is extremely fast for an uber and can knockback aliens and i ended up getting 6800 score by pushing alien boar back to its base Also you could try him on the one slot into the future he works fine on some levels
I love Twilight Zephyr, it's a well designed ""end game"" stage, also chapter 3 moon, because it's the level that teaches you how to get good for the rest of the game, a true lesson.
8:20 I can agree with this having aphro, jizo, and yuki Uhh, ok never mind you were talking about fest ubers I have none of :( but still I feel the same with jizo
Some stages are stupidly ez like the floating continent. Imagine like having a bunch of seafarers against a heavily nerfed nimoy bore from that aforementioned stage
I'm stuck between floor 30 and top of the bog. Floor 30 is very fun because you get any wave immune uber or talent upgrade your rares to be a wave immune meatshield and you're set. Also, you can do it in so many different ways. It's replayability is insane. Top of the bog, you get d kasli you destroy the stage or rock cat with 3 sm research combos and you time it, it gets very satisfying.
i love puzzle stages, pretty sure there is one sol stage where you have to time out your units perfectly so that you can individually handle all the master A’s, but if you damage the base to much in a cycle then all three A’s spawn and defeat is almost guaranteed
Another way to steamroll Floor 40 is to use NEO Driller. Just let Driller weaken the boss and you can meatshield with Catellite, facetank with Can Can, and let Bullet Train get warped so he just rebounds and attacks again. It still requires skill, as the peons can get in the way, and Yulala might charge forward sometimes, but overall I think it’s a really fun and effective way to beat the stage.
My most despised stage was floor 40. Then i got shadow gao. Now my most despised stages are floor 50 and top of the bog stages bcs i dont have kasli. And the only stages ever i particularly liked ware messiers assault stages. King of heroes 3 star was one of the worst too.
My least favourite stage I have ever had to do is by far Floor 47. The Owl is there to kill your units. C moneko is there to destroy all the cats you have in one powerful wave, then your remaining grounds are closed by the Brollows and Puffsley. Then there is an extremely strong Tackey to snipe your base while you try to fend off the other enemies. This requires you to either have beat the equally hard Flow Like the Stream, or to be lucky enough to have something like Immortal Yukimura. March to death wasn't as terrible for me as it might be for others, because I have Paladin, but was still hell nevertheless Fortunately Floor 47 and MtD don't need to be beaten twice (especially the latter), unless you somehow fail to beat floor 48 (stack 8 half slow talented cyberpunks), 49 (use anti traitless advents (bear is irrelevant), wave blockers, b train and dogumaru) and 50 (healer cheese). However, FLtS will most likely need to be beaten multiple times if you don't get bear cat, destroying your soul even further. I still love cat game tho
8:40 describes me beating all the crazed stages and basically any stage whose main threats are traitless because d’arktanyan (haven’t gotten all manic’s yet eraser and axe)
Growing strange is the best stage ever! Big thanks to level 50 D’artanyan, 41 Li’l Valkyrie, and 35 Shishilan Pasalan. Oh, and level 70 ramen, and level 65 cameraman with crit talent, AND 30 sarukani and level 59 catasaurus. Just a really fun stage overall :)
My fav was one in stories of legend. It had three hella buffed rinos and if you killed any of them a crazy buffed, impossible to kill (literally) assassin bear spawned. It was amusing to see the solution was knockback.
4:55 It’s tough to answer because we all have our own split of sentience, meaning the, “Fun,” stages can be terrible from A certain person’s perspective.
If a stage keeps giving me a middle finger, I just pull out either 30 ready catfood or time to watch a lot of ads. Unless it's a No Continues stage. I abuse the wiki to it's fullest potential, just to not waste energy finding out what am I standing against. Also, I completely neglected my unupgraded Crazed cats, with a Manic version of Gross cat waiting to be used. Yeah, I said it: I don't use crazed cats. Only for cat combos. Another mostly good thing is Stage restrictions. It forces players like me (Bazibastra abuser) to try out different lineups against aliens.
“Doberman has a 30% chance to wave attack, completely ruining stacks if you are unlucky” Me who has gotten a max of like 5 dober waves in a row: “This can also relate to status effects” Me who didn’t get a seafarer freeze 5 times in a row: “Such as stages which require a certain unit to beat” Me who has rolled hundreds of times on the normal and rare gacha and never gotten a swimmer cat nor many tank cats: YeAh I cAn ToTaLlY rElAtE!
In my opinion the worst kind of stage is the ones with rushing enemies at the start and the boss knock back makes them reach your base and kill you, it's like the level itself is cheesing you
honestly? chapter 3 moon is the best designed stage. super hard stage and a tough lesson to learn, but introduces meatshielding, buying special cats, treasure grinding, more strategy than just spam shit and cross your fingers and finally feeling the pride of beating a level after taking a lot of time.

y, just use stills or get talents on sanzo
Do relic cyclones exist?

Worse stage of all time: Gilgamesh 3 stars, literally 30+ retries, rng to the max and basically impossible without hyabusa. Not to mention the only no uber strat at the time relied on VALK PROC
I actually really enjoy Rush/Chaos stages that have lots of different types of enemies, Saint Red Fox is probably my favourite stage to date lol
Me: *struggles to beat into the future chapter 2 with Kasli the scourge*
6:15 Jesus Christ that hippo is god in a disguise
I love the addition of LEMMINO'S music in the background, its really great
My favourite stage is the great escaper. Simple, difficult, fun!

lil stages were so fuckin satisfying its hard to express
Maybe the fact that the Lil cats take a genuine strategy rather than slap luffy and shishilan in and shred in 3 minutes?
Bad levels: metal stages
New Eva collab's stages bout to make march to death look like a master piece lol
lvl 20)))
Yep the noble tribe is extremely fun for me, I agree with everything you said in this video.
So basically, a good stage is chapter 3 moon when you have high lord babel? Huh, neat
I have high lord babel
And beating chapter 3 moon was really fun with it
your videos are soooo informative man, keep up the good work!

lmao, YES!! destroying deadly stages while my friend is struggling on it, and say "see it's not that hard" is the funniest thing ever
I dont have a problem with hard "boring" stages, as long as i get good rewards, might be a big grind of strategy or rng, but as long as i feel rewarded at the end of my strugle.

And clear itf? Solo a bahamut is almost impossible even for late game players
What would he do? It was a series to beat EoC with 1 slot, not the entire game
Ohhhhhhh
Me getting shadow gao as my 3rd Uber
I just like how you are punished for overextendimg, but the punishment isn't hard, it is rather easy to come back from it
Honestly i like strategy based stages a lot, mostly because of the pride i get after beating them.
I loved beating crazed cat and crazed tank, those were pretty fun for me
Yay soup uploaded :D
The best feeling in battle cats is looking back on how far you've come.
Runner-up to flexing
How you said that "destroying a stage others struggle on is the most satisfying"
This happened to me and all my friends who play battlecats they were struggling on the floating continent and getting like 500 score but in my first 11 draw i got bloody jack which is extremely fast for an uber and can knockback aliens and i ended up getting 6800 score by pushing alien boar back to its base
Also you could try him on the one slot into the future he works fine on some levels
I love Twilight Zephyr, it's a well designed ""end game"" stage, also chapter 3 moon, because it's the level that teaches you how to get good for the rest of the game, a true lesson.
8:20 I can agree with this having aphro, jizo, and yuki
Uhh, ok never mind you were talking about fest ubers I have none of :( but still I feel the same with jizo
For me, the best stages are the stages that are very challenging yet beatable (and not stupidly hard,) depending on how far you've progressed
i love puzzle stages, pretty sure there is one sol stage where you have to time out your units perfectly so that you can individually handle all the master A’s, but if you damage the base to much in a cycle then all three A’s spawn and defeat is almost guaranteed
My favorite stages are probably the crazed bosses
I can beat all of them but not too easily
My least favourite stage I have ever had to do is by far Floor 47. The Owl is there to kill your units. C moneko is there to destroy all the cats you have in one powerful wave, then your remaining grounds are closed by the Brollows and Puffsley. Then there is an extremely strong Tackey to snipe your base while you try to fend off the other enemies. This requires you to either have beat the equally hard Flow Like the Stream, or to be lucky enough to have something like Immortal Yukimura.
March to death wasn't as terrible for me as it might be for others, because I have Paladin, but was still hell nevertheless
Fortunately Floor 47 and MtD don't need to be beaten twice (especially the latter), unless you somehow fail to beat floor 48 (stack 8 half slow talented cyberpunks), 49 (use anti traitless advents (bear is irrelevant), wave blockers, b train and dogumaru) and 50 (healer cheese).
Yeah it’s pretty fun! I like your lineup but mine is
Level 38 eraser
Level 40 manic eraser
Level 42 ramen
level 45 cameraman
level 30 bomber
Level 40 jizo
Level 30 paladin
Level 30 cat machine
Level 40 li’l valkyrie
Level 31 catgirl yuki and cat
I just dislike the other stages, they’re so many of them and you have to make a lineup that can take out at least one of em
fun cotc stages:
-you stack stuff at the start on a kid tappa
-general gregory and star pengs come out to try beat you up
-nuke them with your stack
My fav was one in stories of legend. It had three hella buffed rinos and if you killed any of them a crazy buffed, impossible to kill (literally) assassin bear spawned. It was amusing to see the solution was knockback.
Not impossible, chili hole did it
@@star_light143 How? It has over 40k health and well over 120k damage per hit. Even Gameron lasts only seconds against it.
Merciless Onslaught, that thing was hard. I had to use several continues to kill the bear
@@theoverseer2033 I beat it by not killing the rhinos. I used knockback combos out the ass then a bunch of knockbackers. No bear that way. :P
I think stages like tapas desert when you first meet it are extremely frustrating cause you know you can beat it, it just takes a few hours
Ok so i what i say- the worst:love child lane the best:we'll meet again
Me hearing the music. "Huh this sound familiar"
See you credit lemino.

Floor 30 in my opinion is one of the best designed stages.
Lol 5:25 it's masochist not misogynist 😭
Also love the vsauce music around 5:00 :)
“Doberman has a 30% chance to wave attack, completely ruining stacks if you are unlucky”
Me who has gotten a max of like 5 dober waves in a row:
“This can also relate to status effects”
Me who didn’t get a seafarer freeze 5 times in a row:
“Such as stages which require a certain unit to beat”
Me who has rolled hundreds of times on the normal and rare gacha and never gotten a swimmer cat nor many tank cats:
YeAh I cAn ToTaLlY rElAtE!
In my opinion the worst kind of stage is the ones with rushing enemies at the start and the boss knock back makes them reach your base and kill you, it's like the level itself is cheesing you
