Mike says Dave thought that it was all about him at the '96 mtv music awards. What he and the rest of the band apparently fail to realize is, it was.
if it was all about dave then why was it such a big deal that he was with van halen?it was about the 4 of them,not just dave.

My sister says that Alex and Mike's friendship was the reason Eddie had an issue with Mike. After reading Van Halen Rising I think she might be on to something.

I don't agree. Dave is a super power. He's Confident in who he is (and everyone loves him) the shallow people whom are also arrogant and insecure and egotistical feel small in his presence. That is why people and whinny musicians cry like little bitches when someone else gets the attention...

For me the first Van halen concert I saw was just after the release of VH 2 and I was completely blown away . I saw them 8 more times after that , but the 80`s and early 90`s were the absolute best . Van Halen was Eddie , Alex, Mike , & Dave . I don`t do Sammy , That wasn`t Van Halen to me
Yep I think it was Eddie's wife who actually tweeted Sammy back.
She's on there all the time and I've noticed Retweets happen really quickly from both her and Eddie's account like minutes apart. In a way thats still cool cause Ed's wife is sorta like Yoko, she markets Ed and maybe cracks a whip on his ass to go make appearances and keep his status high. I'd imagine she might be giving Ed hints to just break the ice with Sammy. But then again if Ed holds allot of shit against him I wouldn't blame him one bit. That fucking book along with all the shit Sammy has said the last few years isn't something you forget. Maybe they'll be friends again someday,but a reunion I think isn't possible anymore. That'd just open up a can of bad shit cause Ed and Al don't like to tour as much as Sammy does plus Ed ain't about to remove his son for anyone. family to him is bigger than that.
David Lee Roth also slammed Eddie in his book, but they reunited.

Terry Lee Bolton Definitely.....the comments about Eddie being in rehab when they were inducted into the hall of fame was a low blow. He was at his lowest and darkest point and had to go to rehab or the grave. His comments about Dave was BS too. wonder why he has such a hard on about Dave? Just disappointed bc he's obviously a dousche bag.
