    Quite fascinating to follow you. Getting the balance right in life is not easy. IBS is a bit of a nightmare for you. Im going to try fermented foods at home. Think they are possibly good for IBS.

    Loved this! We are more similar than I'd first realised - I'm getting married in 2 months and currently navigating IBS stuff so good to hear your thoughts

    Dear Xanthe, I understand if you don't want advice on IBS and if it's the case just ignore this message.
    IBS is directly connected to the nervous system health, you might want to look into how to care for your nervous system. Look into how to soothe adrenal fatigue, the vagus nerve, the parasympathetic system, ... :)
    Vinegar is really not recommended as it is Acidic and what you want in your body is as much Alkaline as possible, which is why lemon water is the best thing to do (I do 0.5 to 1L in the morning and later on another one in the day). Vinegar and coffee are really hard on the adrenals, the nervous system, the liver and more.
    Ashwagandha and Magnesium Glycinate taken daily would help too.
    Going on a more Alkaline diet and taking these supplements has changed my life and now I see IBS so differently than I used to, the bloating and all other discomforts are symptoms.
    I know we're all on our own journey so feel free to ignore if it doesn't resonate.
