Join us for a delicious Sea Day Brunch in the Silver Olympian, exploring the onboard Fun Shops, our endless search to win a Ship on a Stick, lunch at the Carnival Deli and Blue Iguana Cantina, and the hilarious Love & Marriage show. Check out the retractable roof at the Versailles pool and then fancy dinner in the Golden Olympian before we watch the Super Bowl on the Lido deck! What a final day on the Liberty!

I'm a PA girl myself (Philly) that has been happily transplanted here in Volusia County FL, approx 45 mins from Canaveral, in 1989, therefore I've been on quite a few cruises including sailing on Liberty. With resident and VIFP discounts, I almost can't afford to stay home. I'm getting ready to sail on Liberty again in a few weeks and watched your videos to "brush up", if you will. Thanks Linda! I’m glad you enjoyed our videos! Have you been on the Mardi Gras yet? It was so nice! We loved the outdoor aft pools. We really liked the Liberty too. Waaaaay different but it has lots of character. We try to cruise at least once a year, which probably doesn’t sound like much for a Floridian, lol, but up here in the North it’s can be hard to get to cruises. NY/NJ and Baltimore only offer them during the warm months and the $$ goes up! Anyway, thanks again for the kind words! Maybe we’ll see you on a cruise sometime! We’re hoping to book a 3 or 4 day in January out of Orlando or Miami.
My very first cruise was actually out of NY to Bermuda back in 1989 right before I moved to FL. If you haven't been there, GO. I have not yet been on the Mardi Gras (I have heard really good things, tho) but most of my cruises have been on Carnival. The last cruise before the pandemic hit was on Celebrity, which I LOVED. Hubby and I cruised at least every Nov for our anniversary, but I had to cancel the one in 2020 because of.....well, you know. The best rates right now are w/i the first 2 weeks of Dec. For January, I suggest waiting to book bc those rates will go down. But if you can't wait to book it, be sure to book the price protection rate which means if the price goes down, so does yours, but you have to watch it. They don't come looking for you to tell you. If the cruise is already paid off, you get the difference in OBC (onboard credit)....winwin.
We have been to Bermuda! 3 times actually. Lol. Being up north it’s a common port for cruises. That and the Bahamas. Horseshoe Bay Beach is incredible! Thanks for the tip on the price protection. We’re booked on a family cruise next June out of NY on the Magic and that one has price protection. I keep checking when these big sales come out to see if the price drops but it never does. Lol
I'll TRY not to be envious of your 3 jaunts to Bermuda jeeeez : )......Meanwhile, back at the ranch: add your cruise to this: www.cruisewatch.com/cruise-price-alerts. All ya do is plug in your upcoming cruise info and BAM they will email you with price changes. icruise is a good one too. Don't forget to check your spam and junk folders.
Great videos! I've watched all three parts. First time cruiser here. Planning to go on the Liberty in May. What are the free drinks included in the base fare? Do they serve food 24/7 in the main dining room?
Thanks for watching! You’ll love your cruise. It’s an amazing experience. The drinks that are included is water and iced tea I believe. You can purchase a soda package or alcohol package if you’d like. The main dining room is only open for dinner hours (5:30-9pm I think) or for Sea Day Brunch. The Lido buffet is open for breakfast and lunch until around 3pm. There is also Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana Cantina that are open for breakfast and lunch. Pizza Pirate is open 24 hours though!
We are doing the 4 day on the Liberty in July. It's our first Carnival cruise. Videos were great to watch!

@@lindabesecker8272 this is my first time on Carnival. It was a last minute decision. We actually get of a NCL ship on the 10th and decided we wanted to try a quick Carnival trip. The timing worked out perfectly. Just have to figure out the covid testing.
Okay where is the pool at on this ship because I been on this ship and I miss this area??? This is not the main deck ledio deck.
It’s in the back of the ship where Pizza Pirate is at! If you walk through the Lido buffet and to the aft of the ship you will go out the doors and the Versailles pool area is right there with its own bar and pizza!

Pizza Pirate is the 24 hour pizza spot on the ship. It’s open all day every day and is right next to the Versailles Pool with the retractable roof and bar. It’s at the back of the boat on the Lido deck I believe.
