Great information and you did awesome on your video! The translation of documents should be mention also if you don't speak Romanian you need a notary that the mayor office recognize to be the interpeter for the person who doesn't speak Romanian. You did great! Multumesc!

One small point that you might offer some clarity upon please Casiana. When you mention the various proofs or documents required to verify a particular point, along with the original documents (and probably copies) do those documents have to be provided in a certified-true-translation into Romanian or is whatever native language of origin accepted? I can see why Tuica is essential to maintain sanity during the wedding process.

Hello! Can you state more precisely which are the requirements of Romanian laws concerning marriage? I understood the minimal age is 18 (exceptionally 16). You mentioned something about a waiting period in case of recent divorce in foreign laws. Please clarify if Romanian laws bring such restriction.

Hi Adina! Yes, it is true. Normally you should be 18 to get married, but with certain exceptions 16 is also allowed. If you need more precise information, check out Codul Civil Roman art. 272 and following here: legislatie.just.ro/Public/DetaliiDocument/175630
