Me starting in Links Awakening with nothing but a shovel, i.e. the only possible check is digging in the doghouse. Next thing i got sent? A hookshot. Which gives 1 (in words ONE) other check, the beach sword spot. Everything else is still locked behind bushes.
Right in time to have this playing in the background while programming at work 🎉
Edit: gonna join the next one for sure. There need to be even more games.

A number of other roguelites (Slay the Spire, Risk of Rain, Rogue Legacy) have implementations. You just keep everything sent to you by other players between runs.
