@@freddywonka9539 Personally, I dig Nocturnal's lineup w/ John doing the solos as opposed to Ryan. Ryan's solos are so traditional, and I really hated how mainstream they started sounding with Ryan on lead. I'm absolutely in love with Black Valor and I Will Return off of Deflorate, but after that, literally everything with the Ryan Knight/Alan Cassidy involvement really caused the band to lose a fucking LOT of memorable type shit that we had with John on lead and Shannon on drums. Whatever, that's just me.
@@lagok7036 if you haven't seen "Fool 'em All" you should. By the time they begun recording Nocturnal John had completely checked out of the band and wasn't bringing anything to the table, as in showing up to the studio with nothing prepared and not caring. The solos on that album were actually "written" by Trevor telling John what he should play during certain parts. Ryan is also clearly a vastly superior guitarist when compared to John.
I love this setlist. Pretty sure it's the same as what they were playing in 09 right after Deflorate came out and I saw them twice in that window. Closed Casket Requiem is such a good deep cut.

Trevor's a beast, but I don't really think anyone that's been in the band doesn't put on a top tier show.
His vocals are absolutely perfect live. I've seen hundreds of metal shows and he's top 3 live for sure.

I caught them during the Deflorate era with Hatesphere and Augury at Reggie’s in Chicago. Only time I’ve seen them play Christ Deformed.
