James, That suspension lowering vehicle is a "low rider". They were vehicles from the 50's that demonstrated the love and fun young Mexicanos had in their vehicles and way of life. Mosty Southern, California, Texas and the Southwest. If you were on Whitter Blvd. in L.A. in the 70's , that was the peak of Latino activity. Very Cool:) Restoring a car is like owning a boat, a bottomless pit into which you pour all your money, It's hard to know when it's done, there is always a new tweak:) Cheers, Rik
Really enjoyed this. James is like an old friend by now, whether at the keys or exploring these beautiful places; so likable and kind. Can't wait for the next adventure :-)
What a fantastic day of old cars (yours is the most awesome) with a great fireworks display, love these old towns and the way architecture was done. Your channel is coming along amazing 🤩.
"... Held together with a giant knife! Isn't it cool!" I would find it terrifying! 0_0 Someone wants to duel with you! Make sure you can choose the ... instrument of dueling X-D A little later: "I'll show you some of the cars! Let's start with it!" Next shot: James all over a dog X-D That car you did not recognise, I do recognise it as the car from the intro to the Poirot series with David Suchet!
I miss hood ornaments . . . Any plans to do an indepth of your car? Being an old gear head here would be nice to know what all you guys did to it details on the drive train etc. (and I hope your Dad lets you drive it on occassion!)
It's in both of our names. We have owned it for just a few weeks and it has a Moss Crash Box (very similar to a Jaguar) that can be interesting to shift especially when down shifting. I am sure you will see my driving it in videos in the future, but for now being in charge of the camera and audio feels about right.
@@americasbackroadswithcharl7688 Nice, not familliar with a Jag transmission, but I have driven a few miles in a 1949 Fargo with straight gears, rev matching is fun when it works :) if you want to be good at it it takes practice, lots of practice . . . just like something else . . . ;)

I live in Elizabethton
I am going to the car show on Saturday.
20:19 Clutch sings a song about that car! xD (Space Grass)
🚗👍
Thank you.
Hmmm... Eine gutten Morgan.😁
... instruments? Well, kind of... Very strong bass on most of these.
Low rumble in bass.
I Prefer to see these cars than the UK cAr shows
What kind of cars are shown in the UK?
IMO the best car by far was your Moggie. The rest I could take or leave (mostly leave); they're not my thing.
Muscle cars are cool, but I love the sound and feel of a sports car.
No mask wearing in your crowd shots - yeah nah. Different approaches by different countries.
When I see a mask I have the urge to remove it with a pitchfork.
