In response to Adam and Eve’s Declaration of Independence from God when they sinned… Would you agree that Adam and Eve forfeited the Holy Spirit when they sinned. That they possibly had the Holy Spirit or access to the Holy Spirit prior to the sin.
Hey Misty, you are right, the Holy Spirit was definitely forfeited. When we declare independence from the Kingdom, our choice makes the Holy Spirit illegal. We will get into this when we cover, Holy Spirit being the Governor of the Kingdom and what a governor means, because it is very different from how we are taught about the Governors of our united States. The Governor in the Kingdom is much more powerful 🙂
Thanks for engaging! This is a very thought provoking question! Here's what I believe: first, Adam and Eve represent all of mankind, so what I say beyond this point applies to all of man, as a species (we'll get into this concept in the future 😊) Adam and Eve had access to the Holy Spirit before they sinned. When they disobeyed, they declared ‘independence’ from God, stepping away from the Kingdom and it's benefits. This included the loss of the governing influence of the Holy Spirit, which wasn’t fully restored until Christ’s restored man back to the Kingdom, giving us access to the Holy Spirit once again.
@ I completely agree. Satan’s ultimate focus is to rob humans of our identity in God/Christ. Which is why he sought to infiltrate Adam and Eve’s identity from the very beginning. Much like how he tries to rob us of our identity soon after we are born.
what did god intended before the fall, Powerful. Repent, changing the mindset so in-tuned.
Hey Womanofgod144, welcome back. Stay in-tune because what we will cover is even more eye opening 🙂
@ I’m excited for the next video I already started to dive into the question. (What is the structure and purpose of the kingdom of heaven?)
