This sounds like a Martha statement to me. Idk why. But Mary found the most important thing and that was to sit at Jesus’ feet. Not doing anything important or beneficial. Yet Jesus said “Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
I understand and see this has little gospel presentation, but what is presented is a reverence and adoration of Abba our father. And many characteristics of his nature. Would you rather people simply just know about the gospel (head knowledge like the Pharisees) or encounter the man who gave it to us (a true genuine relationship with the father)?
