Acknowledgement gets transmitted for every data byte. In this case data has two bytes. So, two acknowledgments for each byte. And one acknowledgement is for address as you mentioned. Total 3 bytes. Hope your doubt is cleared.

1 ACK bit is the response of the slave for the address received.
