Dude you’re the man, thanks for these videos! They are really good for scaring away how “hard” this job is for a first-time s30 owner.

Your channel is amazing brother. I recently picked up an 81 280zx and have been watching your videos every day. So informative and well edited. Much appreciated.

Just finished a brake job on my 280z and can’t thank you enough. This helped me out a lot.

I did brake upgrade and bearings recently. Pretty straight forward. I found the races were simple to remove and install with no specialised bearing tools. Removing the rotor from the hub was the biggest pain, takes quite a lot of beating.

Yeap, I had to beat on it quite a lot. Some people use heatshocking with torches to some good results.

Been having trouble getting seal in !! When u say “groove facing centre of hub, you meaning groove facing engine when installed on car (sorry that’s how my brain thinks)

Thank you for your comprehensive videos. In your wheel bearing installation video, I got to the part where I am trying to install the large race but the autozone kit doesn’t fit - just like you said. Where did you get the other kit that you used to complete the race installation? Many thanks!

I had to buy a kit from Harbor Freight to make it work, but even that was a bit troublesome. I honestly think I had to combine the two kits to get em out.

I ended up taking the hub (with one race in and one partially in) to a local independent brake/tire shop. They fixed it fast and I brought back the other hub and had them take out the races and install the new. Cost me $ 50, and I am ready to reinstall.

Thats a good idea actually. I wouldnt have minded paying 50 bucks to save myself a lot of the trouble.
