I totally agree with you Thapar institute of engineering and technology is the oldest university but i would like to share few things like they have the best placement opportunities globally like Amazon, Deloitte etc. Faculties and infrastructure is really good. We do have different Societies and I was the member of Thapar Movie club. Admissions are open for new batches go and get your seats now.
