I’ve done that for 6 yrs now. I use 5 gallon buckets and I just cut the bottom open, no wholes. The greatest advantages are that it doesn’t spread, as hops can be quite invasive, and if for any reason I need to remove the plant, either due to disease or dislike of the variety in my terroir, I can do so and not worry about the old plant coming back and me not knowing which hops I’m harvesting. Great video!

Hey mate, great video. The hops can be very hard to contain. I have my pots above ground so that I can check and remove any rouge roots. One I checked last season had gone out underneath the shingle it was sitting on about 9 feet. Lol. I don't want them shooting up all around my property. I grow fuggles and cascade for fun and normally enough for a few brews. Cheers, new to your channel.😎👍

Thanks for the great ideas! But my dude, you have so much extra unused space! I would at least throw some asparagus beds in there, and get 2 awesome crops in one space.

I have plenty of land for a garden but it's too much work to keep up with. Hops are easy to grow. Set up the ropes in the early spring, trim them up a couple times during spring and let 'em grow.
