This is not a "happy" documentary, it's extremely sad. I remember crying after watching this as a new fan last year around three in the morning. It made me feel sad for him. He does look extremely unhealthy, loss a lot of weight due to depression, feeling lonely, and the anxiety of leaving everything, everyone he loves behind in other to fulfill his duty to his country.
me too. tbh I haven't even finished watching it, because it was too dark for me. maybe I can watch it, after he finally comeback and looking healthy and happy again

Jiyong was really skinny bcs he was under a lot of stress from making the album and the Motte concert, he's known for being a perfectionist + he also suffers from insomnia and depression, he went throw a lot during that time.
I worry and think about GD & TOP the most out of all the members bcs I know they both suffer from depression, anxiety and insomnia. 😢 I really hope they're taking care of themselves. 🙏
Chey is right, he was supper skinny in 2017. This was probably the time when his health was the worst and we could tell he wasn't in the best mental and emotional state either. He was touring the whole time and on stage he acted like everything was fine, but we were really worried about his health that whole time. In 2018 we were so happy because he had gained weight and he looked much better
This document shows all the cost of him being famous. I'm already tearing up😭 Motte is his final world tour before going to the military, it is right after bigbang world tour which is why he lost so much weight. I get that he's hot but I dont really like this look on him ㅠㅠ I just wish genuine happiness and good health for this man. Protect Kwon Jiyong at all cost!!!!!

When I think back when Big Bang was becoming Big and getting to where they are now. I think they are God's and Legends now. Nowaday kpop fans calling their favorite groups as Kings and Princes. Im like BIG BANG been there done that. They should be getting recognitions not as KINGS but LEGENDS AND GODS. Noone can do what they have done and doing. I'm glad you started to react to this. This documentary is actually very deep, it shows how gd go through depression. This was a documentary about him during his solo tour ( if I'm not mistaken, the biggest tour ever made by a kpop solo artist). Also during this time was t.o.ps scandal and I'm pretty sure he also have some personal problems that's why he's so down, you can actually see that he's so skinny. This doc is about his last solo tour before military in 2017 called Act III: MOTTE (Moment Of Truth, The End.) It is not a happy thing to watch because as Chey (I think that's how you spell it?) is right in that he was super skinny (he lost a lot of weight in just a few months), and basically everyone thinks he had depression during this tour- you can see hints of it throughout - him saying that he's lonely, not leaving his hotel room for days and days. Unfortunately, mental health is a bit of a taboo still in South Korea, and whenever he started talking about it to his staff they laughed and he stopped. The other members appear in the doc at random times too - he looks a lot happier when they are around. Great reaction, please keep watching!

So painful to watch. When he was on tour, I remember seeing his photos on concerts and worrying, since he looked so skinny. I think MOTTE tour was hard for him, on concerts he would mention feeling lonely without the members and also having mixed feelings about going to the military.
I remember a fancam from one of his concerts where he said that when he's discharged from military, he would be 30. And he was wondering if he could still paint his nails, then he asked the crowd if the would be okay with that and everyone said yes, but he said "but I'm not okay with that"
When he entered the military, I was so happy seeing he had gained weight and he looked healthy when he was discharged.
I just hope he is happy now

It was an Exhausting Year for Jiyong as a Leader and a Person. So much Stresses. We were all worried with him loosing Weight and were happy seeing his Chubby Cheeks again when in Military. But He and BIGBang always bounces back. He is GDRAGON after all and our Shy, affectionate and Smiling JIYONG❤

BIGBANG releases DVD's of their concerts. They make a documentary of the whole tour and show some bits of their behind the scenes. Taeyang also released White Night Documentary. I love that a lot. I got to see how he works.
Btw, GD's been in the entertainment business since he was six and he has been under the microscope for so long. I guess it came to a point that he got tired of it all. The press and all his crazy fans who just won't let him be happy. He was not in a good place. Watching this video made me feel like he was showing us what he really felt.
We don't know how he is now, but we can't help but worry.

Tbh, when i first saw this documentary, i didn't felt happy, what i felt is im crying alone in my room :"( i just need him to be happy and didn't worry abt anything :( when i saw him, i can see the pressure and he felt soo tired. And i crying hard when i saw Riri came and support him, cheering him on the stage and back stage. Thats my fav part, when Jiyong had a really big smile and happy in this documentary with Riri😭

This docu is not your typical docu of artists. This one shows the other side of success and I admire GD for always being different from the rest. VIPs truly appreciate all of Bigbang for who they are, the good and the bad.

I really like your reactions. I really do. I'll be tearing up every time. Idk why. 😂 There'll always be something to cry about. Especially when you guys are genuinely loving big bang and gd's music. Respected them as an artists, acknowledging him as a great one at that. It just warm my heart. 😭 Gd is always seen as the man with badass attitude, and his charismatic aura on stage. Most idols look up to him. They respect him for what he has brought into kpop scene. He is the first idol to write, composed and produce their own songs. No other idols did that before. And to make me even more proud, his songs is almost always a hit. He basically built YGent to be what they are now. Big bang is YG biggest breakthrough. After that, they've produce a few more revolutionary groups before some of them loose a lil bit of their momentum, and a few others left to be independent or join a new agency. 2ne1, akmu, lee hi, epik high, one, winner, ikon, blackpink and soon debuting, treasure. I'm glad I'm a part of these era. And I'll continue supporting them in the future. 🥰❤️

For me, everytime I heard the two names G Dragon and Kwon Ji Yong, I'm thinking like they are two different person, I feel like the name G Dragon talks more about the music side, his music career, the musician while the name Kwon Ji Yong is more about the fashion and the normal side of him even though it's the same person with two different names

Watch MADE documentary. That one has a much lighter note. MOTTE was so sad, but that's reality.
Like every one has said, he was very skinny. He lost a lot of weight in 2017 and was severely depressed and struggling. This documentary is really difficult to watch as a result.
He's done documentaries before on past solo tour DVD's. If you watched one of those earlier documentaries, you would see a huge difference in his energy / mood and behaviour.
But all of these phases in life are important to recognise and see.
