    Man! Killer cards. That dual auto inscription is awesome. 🤛🏻

      @@brentrichardsbaseballcards it is. Plus koos, in my opinion, was underrated in his time. All of those cards I wish I had minus the 1969 psa7 (I already have one) . As always, thanks for watching Brent!

    Just purchased a koosman Ryan reprint auto card and that’s got my juices flowing. Can’t imagine owning an original auto’d one

    Hi Russ, I like all of them. The dual signed rookie is awesome. My favorite is the 71 O PEE CHEE. I need to get one of those. Thanks for taking time to do this.

      @@5714Collector I love the opc too. Every time I go to buy something happens that prevents me from obtaining it but maybe this year is different. Thanks for watching and commenting

    I mean... Can you go wrong with a Nolan car? If you ask me which is my favorite? All I could say is YES! They're all outstanding cards and price aside... They're all the same to me. I would caretake them until I couldn't any longer. Man, what a great group of cards. Thank you Russ for bringing these examples to us. You do awesome work brother.

    I bought a low grade rookie and sent to the nolan ryan foundation, where he'll sign for $75. Takes about 6 months to get back. Just an idea to throw out there.

      @@tjhendricks1756 I’ve been wanting to submit a few items to the foundation. I just get scared about sending them in the mail. But I think I’m going to soon. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!

    I own a 1999 upper deck ultimate victory quad relic card of Nolan, Brett, Yount, and Cepeda. Card is # to 99.

      @@jacklorenz5095 that sounds like a great card. The 4 inductees into the hall that year. I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of jealous.

    I had 1968 to 1971 Ryan cards. I think I traded the rookie card for some magic beans and my father threw the rest out.

      @@RichWiands I’m sorry for your loss. Those cards are some of my favorites. Back in the day parents didn’t think the cards would be worth anything, which is unfortunate now, but at the same time, could you blame them for thinking that way? Thank you for watching. I appreciate the support

    I like the 1970…. The 1969 is kind of a strange pose. I think the 1970 had a more natural look. And it’s a high number. I think the 1971 is fairly ugly, but with the black borders high grade is a chase. 1972 is kind of a boring portrait. So, I like the 1970 look the best.

    • @CollectingNolan
      @CollectingNolan  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@jonathonsantamont8527 sacrilegious to say such things about highly regarded 1971 🤣. I like the 1970 as well. I feel the 1969 had the classic “pitcher delivery” pose that’s cards of that era and earlier had (see Warren Spahn cards). Thanks for watching and commenting!

    • @jonathonsantamont8527
      @jonathonsantamont8527 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ dead on with the Warren pose reference…. The major reason the 71 gets play is the conditioning…. I’ve sent in and have a bunch of 8’s, but have never been able to “9” that card… it’s likely pop controlled, but the all black borders make it tuff!

    • @CollectingNolan
      @CollectingNolan  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ a bunch of 8’s?! Dang I’ll take an 8 in that card any day. I’ve seen one 9. The borders make that card so tough. I have a 6 (SGC) and I have a few raw that may grade 4-6 if they are not trimmed

    • @jonathonsantamont8527

      @@CollectingNolan sometimes cannot tell the difference between an 8 and a 9…. That said, a 9 is a big boy card in a 71 Ryan, I cannot sink that kind of coin into one…. Haha. So, I’ll need to continue to love my 8’s…

    • @CollectingNolan
      @CollectingNolan  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ 8’s are pretty big in that card too. It makes me kind of jealous. 9 is astronomically out of my price range
