The Bongo would do well in the us market for commercial and delivery use especially where the air I see s’t as clean as it is in rolle Areias.Hyundai should also bring the porter for the same use maybe they can be made in Georgia Alabama It’s great that they’re making an electric truck now because my uncle David drives a RAM 2500 and diesel is over $5 a gallon . I don’t think you have that track in South Korea but it’s from Dodgers truck division it has a cummins diesel eight speed Allison transmission. If he wants an electric truck you’ll have to wait at least two years

Autoline had a good editorial recently. You can't realize the production line savings when using IC vehicles and converting them to electric. To much legacy ic type costs transferring over in the structure itself. And using the same productions lines as IC vehicles.. you also lose the labor savings. Add the cost of the batteries, and you soon will find out that the electric xyz... will not make any money. You have to realize all the savings of the electric cars.... so that you can then spend it on batteries and not the weight of the chassis and labor costs...
The range sucks for so big battery. is that range fully loaded? what if you converto to a light weight camper ? Driving at 60mph max, this should do 300km. Probably bad tech with no regen. Kia please do a 350km range with 100kw charger. My dream vehicle.
For Sure KIA could sell millions of these all over the world... Especially Asia. Forget all the dirty ICE shite and go full-on for EV in the commercial sector.

What is the range on a full charge?
Well, no EPA or WLTP, but here in Korea, this 1st full EV Truck from Kia is meant to have range of 211km, which is about 131miles. Thanks gene.
