    Time to take a trip down memory lane. Today I'm reacting to a very well made, ancient, Warcraft 3 eSports documentary recorded in 2004! Raise your 4Kings flags!

      I honestly believe that inside Grubby was afraid of Deadman even though he won’t admit it. Deadman came out of nowhere and immediately began winning top players. I think Deadman proved to him self as well as to the world that he doesn’t need a maphack to win. This guy could have become the biggest European Warcraft 3 legend (possibly even bigger than Grubby and Happy) if not for his behavior where he got kicked out of the SK Gaming team. This changed his destiny. It’s sad that nobody realizes it.

    I read comments like "you had 80 apm back then" or "look at the micro", people here seem to have forgotten, how much gaming gear has improved. In 2003/4 you often still had ball mouses, the keyboards were not designed for gaming and the CRT screens were very irritating - like after 3 hours of gaming your head felt like a balloon. Today's gaming equipment is such a gift, we can be grateful.

    • @RadarFinsR
      @RadarFinsR 17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      at the time laser mice had become pretty common, but honestly one of the biggest things was the game simply ran worse on the hardware at the time
      Keyboard switches were much simpler so having extremely high APM was harder tied with how actions would be harder for your PC to process in general I remember at the time 100 APM was considered quite good.
      CRT monitors while yeah they gave you a headache simply had better response time than early flat screens that people tried to push

      "Little did Grubbys villainous opponent know that during the race for JRBs (Jordan realm boots), he was building an indestructible, unbreachable arrow tower at his expo. Sealing the victory and discouraging all mortal hackers to play clean. To play fair and say GG.

    Maaaan… good old times. Those monitors … computer clubs or e-mail cafes were at their rise and prime I guess. Grubby lies to us though, since he calls himself "EX-pro" but the truth is right here - he IS the PRO-gamer still. Dunno about others but his skill is nowadays way better than it was before. Mah boy grew up! :D

      No. You could access the goblin shop by standing directly below the cliff. The shop had 1 boots of speed (at start), first one there wins

    I kinda miss the best 2s team EU ever had . . . .
    Damnnn i feel nostalgia... i was 'here' aswell, i mean wc3 was my life aswell in those days. I wasn't a pro but god damn i wish i was.. I was practicing, watching replays. No commentary, just a replay file you had to download a file with less than 1mo/s speed internet connection. You would watch that on your own and somehow try to learn from that game. Anyways ahhaha that video felt good, thanks for sharing Grubby. Good fucking memories right there.

    Hey Manuel, followed you since the early days. I had a question: How did it feel when you were accepted into 4K. Were you really proud? What about the first time you changed your name to 4k.grubby and saw it on the screen? Just curious. Thanks!
