- In todays video I attempt to survive 100 days HARDCORE on The New Ark Map Fjordur!
Here is what happened...
In this solo series I Play ARK Gameplay styled video giving tips and guides on how to survive as a Solo Player in ARK: Survival Evolved.

Everything else is default normal single player settings.

You didn’t put the rates in the description
When you start a new map, you should ALWAYS do the DestroyWildDinos command so everything that has spawned inside rocks and underground etc. will be deleted and new ones appear on surface.
Is that on non dedicated server?

When I spawn into a map things spanw really slow for the first 5 days does that speed it up?

4 years ago I walked a bronto to from herbivore island to almost top left of the snow. Worst thing I’ve ever done ark… it died the next day

If you have a mod that adds human NPC factions (of different styles) you could also have a notice board that adds semi RNG quests. Like Kill X dino at Y location. Or obtain X item (which might mean killing dinos for their claws. etc).
This would give the player a goal that is less on the rails (like the artifacts) while keeping them moving to different locations. Just need to balance the factions and spawns right when quests are activated. It would work pretty well for a map like this, which already has castles and ruins. Lost island too.

There is 2 caves if you head to the huge tree from spawn
There will be a cave on the left of the hill with gold on the side of it
That cave features the names of the supporters of ARK and some kind of hall of fame thing
There is another cave on the left of that contains portals to 3 other worlds/locations
Vanaheim, Asgard and Jotunheim
Check them out when you can because they have a lot to explore and loot

You know he ment in game days right?
@@ExoRebirth ...That is still not possible, a single day in ark is around an hour, so 100 days = 100 hours, then he also has to edit which probably takes at least a couple more hours, that is not exactly possible to do 5 minutes BEFORE the map even released.

Yeah...I noticed these things too. Thought I'd check this channel out, but with the uber increased rates and the skipping relevant information, I'm not impressed.
I have absolutely no problem with some boosted stats for the purpose of smooth content, but his stats are absolutely insane. At that point, you're basically cutting out half of the purpose of this game: which is to explore, gather resources, survive, and so on. If you're gathering everything you need from one node/source for each item, what's the point anymore? I don't know man, I'll have to see what rates he posted. I won't be surprised if they don't match what we see in the video, though....
Using the old modded map isn't as much of an issue, if you're open about it. It has its differences from the new official version.

Fjordur is a map based on Norse mythology
Erebor form the hobbit or Moria basically for those caves under the mountains
