    I used to live here as a kid. It was scary at night walking along the path from hut to hut. The toilet used to be a big hole through the sandstone ledge over hanging the ocean...used to shit myself going to the toilet haha... Wow. Thanks for the memories.

      They werent evicted, 50% along the coast died out within 2 years from Smallpox. And no it wasn’t done on purpose. The British came at a time during the age of engligtenment and seeked to befriend them.     Before reading the information I was thinking to myself about how I have never heard of this gem and that it was so well kept I thought it had to be on a private residence!

    I went for a bush run about 5 years back and found these huts. I didn't have a good look around as I thought people occupied the area and didn't want to intrude. Think I'll need to revisit. There are also old abandoned military installations dotting the harbour cliff tops from WWII.
