As much as I hate his last album CHTKMY, at least he took a few artistic risks on that album like Movie Star. My problem with the critique here is that it feels like people are wanting more substance, but you really don’t need it. I agree with the point that jack is mediocre, id say more average with this project. But he is legit hating lol. Mac Miller was known for being a white frat rapper back in his blue slide park days and prior. Then he started getting more experimental and inspired with each project as he came into his own.
I sure asf don't think that's gonna be Jack Harlow but you gotta give him the same chance at least. I'd also disagree that Logic is a better rapper, I think he makes better projects and Jack actually writes a little better.
I also feel Jack's older music isn't bad and more interesting than what he makes now.
