I bought my lonestar on the saddle hunter forum. I contacted tx5 about the hpr inserts and he shipped me two sets and only made me pay shipping. Tx5 is awesome!
@michaelconley6245 its alright, I think its a solid option. For me I didnt love it and prefer a traditional saddle. Maybe ill do a video on one soon as I own it.
Looks like a awesome saddle ! Ive been on the fence of weather to get the pleated version or the stretch seat ? Whitch one do you suggest? Im b flat in the rear like you are.
I know this has nothing to do with this saddle....but did you ever do a climb on video with the novix sticks with the aiders? I'm interested in those sticks but iam curious as to what height you got once you added the cable aiders.
I am currently using a tethrd phantom, do you think the lonestar 2.0 is worth the upgrade? And what are your thoughts on the tethrd phanom for comfort?
Would have been a home run if it was pleated the wood hunter is exactly the same except it’s pleated better saddle in my experience plus’s it’s cheaper with better camo patterns
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors yes I looked into it a bit more it has a moveabale belt also which the wood hunter does not. It will probably be my go to for next season. 🤙🏼

Thats great info!!
Spot on review man. In my opinion definitely worth the upgrade. Great job as always.
Thanks kirk!!
lots of really nice looking upgrades to an already awesome saddle. nice vid. thanks.
No problem 👍
Good looking saddle..
Indeed! Its a nice one for sure!
Good liking saddle but sticking with my tx5 minimalist
Solid saddle too!!
You should do a review of the dryad drey or mini drey if you wanna talk about comfort.
I have both.
What do u think of the dryad drey ?

@@michaelconley6245 started using it last year and I love it. Unlimited adjustability, perfect for naps as well. Lol

Id suggest the same one I got. The pleated version just seems like too much seat lol
Yeah I'm using a cruzr xc right now and that's how I feel about it too much saddle lol !

yes, its on my channel
12-13 foot, then add say 4 feet for cable aiders.

Any opinions on pleated vs stretch?
Pleated seems like too much seat, I prefer the stretch. Plenty big enough and super comfortable.
What is the color of that saddle? Trying order a 2.0 on tx5 website now but can’t find that color option
Wolf.grey
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors that’s what I thought but wanted to be sure. Thanks man And great review as usual!!
What size saddle is that one? & what size jeans you wear?
It is an XL and I wear size 38 pants.

Well in my thoughts I think it is, but to be honest. Ive never owned a phantom so I can't accurately say if I prefer it over the Phantom.....
@@MichiganGreatOutdoors well I ordered a TX5 Lonestar 2.0 and I cant wait to run it this year
@@mattbrown7562would you mind sharing your thoughts between the 2 and which you prefer when you get it? Im trying to decide between the 2.
Thoughts on the new tethrd?
My thought is I want one lol

So I failed to mention this, you can order it in a stretch seat or a pleat.
